Drove home last night through some VERY wet weather. When I tried to lock car with key fob it does nothing. I thought the reciever might be wet (the car bit) so I thought by this morning it should be ok....still nothing. I am guessing/hoping it is just the battery in the key fob, but should it die JUST LIKE THAT...or should it show signs of slowly running out of power? I am only asking because I will buy and new battery but thought I would prepare myself incae it is something more "sinister"!!!

Its pretty important you know which way the lever is in the first place! Its not easy to tell that you have moved it, but you can see a small cover that blocks the beam.

I think the ECU connector is the SKART looking type plug under the steering column.

Those wheels went really cheap I think. Not the dark version though. They are the best.

Why change your aeriel is my first question??? IS the standard not good enough for ya>????? PLEASE dont say your going to fit a shark fin!!!

Maybe some thing to do with the dazzle of xenons being too much if obscured by muck!!!!

Just put new rubber on too!! Dont want to shred it!

Chipping would mean more power and speed :P BUT would mean greater wear and tear :x , so considering I am VERY pleased with it already why bother? :|

I had climate in my Old focus, now have an ultima without. MUCH prefer the simplicity of a good knob!!!

I have the really deep rubber mat (6 inch sides) Quite pricey without ford discount but well worth it!!

Not many after market mods for us!!!

Go for the red LED interior light mod I have mentioned before. Makes for a nice "brothel" style hue inside and is really much less harsh to enter on these darkening winterish nights

No difference at all to normal ones....or at least in my experience. Makes the light look a little whiter/bluer and thats it. You really know xenons when you drive them! Long journey on unlight roads are much less tiring with xenons. And they look cool in the daytime too!

I really like having the rears tints on my ULTIMA. It means at night I can leave stuff in the back without it being seen....namely my £2000 mountain bike!

If you think about it the GHIA focus did not chrome everything!!

The light is MUCH brighter. Look cool. Oneupmanship on others!!! :wink:

The springs only for me. To my knowledge they only effect warranty of parts they directly effect!!

I have decided I will never have a car again without them! Even though they are silly money as an option.
