  1. I've never seen a great pic with the ST spoiler in it can someone post one on here so i can see pls, (i might get ideas)
  2. i'm also looking at colour coding above fogs but what are peoples opinions on the whole fog surround being done? any pics of peeps cars already done i would like to see, esp aquarius.
  3. I struggled but, i put my mum on my insurance as a named driver, she got full no claims etc and it brought it down quite a bit. I found elephant or bell direct cheapest.
  4. its time like this u get good ideas for your own. I'm loving funboys bonnet and the wheels on the black one.
  5. I'm in agreement with tony. I would like to see how the fronts will look when they're out, as for the mirror covers i'm undecided. Those pics helped me make my mind up quite quick as my car is that colour, so i'll wait a while and see what else comes around.
  6. they won't do the work without the letter. it has all the car info in it and needs to be stamped when work is carried out. Thats why my m8 had to wait even though the problem was already present.
  7. i think its just the grommet.the gap on mine is only about half the size in that pic. my m8 finally got his letter yesterday but knew about it cos i had my letter already yet his car has melting exterior handle.
  8. there is a gap on mine but nothing like the size of that. looks exactly the same but mines got around half the gap
  9. Cheers i'll give them a call next week and see what they say.
  10. From looking at mine all they have done is replace the rubber grommet through the window, between wiper and motor. The idea is to stop the water getting in and creating the problem. Albeit for my m8's car a little late his will need more work (exterior boot handle replaced. Mine just had the grommet replaced and the surrounding area checked was back with me in three hours. (probably a 5-10 min job)
  11. mine went in at just after 8 this morning and had it back by 11
  12. my m8 with the problem already happening hasn't had his letter either but when u get the work done u need the letter
  13. i think its a good idea. then if its something others don't hear about or understand people could ask on here. Just incase anyone wanted to check theirs my m8's is melting just above the tailgate release right through the plastic for about the width of the boot release. But no signs of heating on inside trim, ...yet.
  14. just got mine and booked it in for work on thursday. My m8 not received his letter but we checked his car and his boot handle on the outside of the bootlid is melting!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. < I have a 1.6 Ti-VCT been to cornwall 38 mpg on way back 41-42 mpg and i only just done 2000 miles on way home usually round my way i get around 27-30 mpg but its stop start at slow speeds
  16. Hi i've just been to cornwall on hols last week :D approx 224 miles there + driving down there(best part of 400 miles on a tank  ) i got around 38 mpg and on the way home around 41-42 mpg. Also u mentioned a rattling window, could you let me know how u get on as my drivers window has started rattling over the last few days and it was a bit worrying on the way home :?
  17. Had mine since march, and although still only done around 1250 miles  the fuel economy seems to be getting better started off at around 25 mpg now on 29 mpg, looking better still on current tank.
  18. I would agree with kevin. I din't go for all the xtras on my zetec climate but i prefered the look over the others,(lights etc) but i can always make changes later.
  19. i was thinking something along those lines but wasn't 100% sure, so thought i'd stay quiet lol rather than possibly sound silly :?
  20. The hose blank/plug. Just wondered what it is there for, or am i just being thick? personally i blame the heat
  21. I've started on the ice. Gota new HU but still trying to decide on what amp/sub to get. Will be looking at bodykits too but not too keen on whats around so far.
  22. hi kevin, my bumpers seem to be fine for colour match but at the moment i have put off getting kit like yours, as i have seen some standard mk2's with similar probs in my area.
  23. Both cars bought through http://www.allbrandsnew.co.uk/ and were sourced in leeds. Both still going great, a certain person that shall remain nameless has put a nice key scratch straight down the length of my nearside. But overall still great. We saved more by buying the two together. The cars were already cheaper than ford but for delivery costs instead of paying for both we paid for one and split it between us. :D
