The wifes car suffers from the dreaded pull away problem has done since we brought the thing and we are lucky if we get 40 mpg, she will be glad when it goes next year.

I agree totally, i have been in the motor trade 25 years now and main dealers do not give a sh-- as long as there sales are up there.

Hi all, just letting every one know first mot failed rear shocks knackered 32000 miles.

Dont know about that but it does it at any time at night during the day, also why doesnt it loose the radio settings????

This is one for mastertech, we have had our radio replaced twice now but still has the same fault were by the clock keeps reseting, been told by the dealer that ford dont no how to fix this problem :shock: :shock: :x :x

Hi all well the wifes car went the ford dealer saturday to sort out the flat spot, no fault found but they said they had reset the ecu :o :o guess what still the same :shock: :shock: also while there they chequed out the radio clock yes it keeps resetting itself and by the way this is the second unit, the service advisor said they had disconnected the battery and reset the time clock :? :? then said if it still does it that ford dont have a fix for this problem, come on ford whats happening.

i'am sure it is the 90ps unit.

As you pull of if you dont get the revs right up there it just nose dives, just what you dont want at road junctions!!!!!!!!

Hi all well had to drive the wifes 1.6 tdci and guess what the dreaded flat spot has reared its ugly head again is there a fix or not i give up with ford.

Hi your high side port is at the front and your low side is towards the back on the left gas is r134 a. get it presure tested before gassing trust thats my job.

Had our 1.6 tdci ghia 54 plate 2 years and due for replacment cant wait nothing but trouble rattles, paintwork, engine, performance, mpg joke, :evil: try do 40mph in fifth no way and the list goes on iam glad its the wifes car, i drive a 2.5 cougar :D a dream compared to the cmax.

By the way that was genuine ford parts so how much is labour being charged for 1hour??????

Hi all mine did 20 thousand then had to replace them, did them myself cost £30 no way i would pay fraud to do them.

hi cmaxdave, get it checked mate my electrical cable rubbed through causing all sorts of problems on the wifes car. they do no about it. :evil:
