What is the pollen filter change interval?
tesscott6312 replied to fjs's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
How sure are you that it was changed. A lad I know who works on the service desk at our local dealership admitted to me that in some cases, they leave them well alone as replacement is an absolute nightmare. Make you wonder how many other garages do the same. -
I agree that CD41 makes one hell of a difference to the power delivery, but mine has played up again since the update although only once. I'll cross my fingers for you Andy.

Interesting reading !

Cata-tonic, Just a little something for you to drool over : Looks nice in Black !

Diesel, Now you're talking ! 2.0 TDCi @ 136bhp is a cracker .............. unless fuel economy is your main goal.
-
Quite a lot easier to clean the roof on that compared to the C-Max !
-
That's the 'slimline' model then and not the 'highline' ?
-
Well I'll certainly back you up on that one. Look great don't they ? Just sorry that you had to see them on a C-Max and not the Mk.2 Focus.
-
Which particular one Mastertech as there appears to be a few with regards to EGR :?:
-
I was just about to comment on "Look what you've started !"
-
Me and my big gob ! Might of known I'de upset a tike. War of the roses all over again is it ?
-
Will a C-Max do ? This is purely a Photoshop image as I am looking at changing my 17" machined 9 spokes for these 18" stunners.
-
With the fact that you have mentioned a baby, from a practical point of view, go with a C-Max. I'm sure there will be plenty to come with other ideas, but I will get my opinion in first.

Onslowe, I'm waiting for my replacement EGR valve to come in. The garage rang me last friday to say it will be some time next week. They also told me that as well as the EGR fitment, they are advised to load up CD42 which should work in tandem with the valve. The garage also said that I should be impressed with the new disk as not only should the car feel smoother, but other owners have reported quicker throttle response and improved fuel economy. Like you though, it will still be a case of crossed fingers !

Enjoy your car Billy !

Whippets and flat caps .............. that's Yorkshire you fool ! Don't label me alongside the White Rose crew.

I work with a Yorshireman. He once dropped a 20p piece out of his pocket. He was that quick to pick it up, it hit him on the back of the head ! The old ones are the best

I would love to take all the glory, but feel the need to be honest and tell you it was 'Peatsie' via the Photoshop section. God only knows how he did it, but I think it looks fab ! -

Anyone Know....ST Diesel ??
tesscott6312 replied to wick10_1's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
I tell you what guy's, you just go and enjoy your petrol fumes and leave the turbo enhanced diesels for us ! We will always beg to differ, so why argue over what is a long running individual owner preference. But please don't b i t c h when Mr.Ford decides to add a sporty marque to the diesel range. It really won't devalue the status of your lovely 'ST' model ! Sorry if any of these comments upsets the petrol crowd and can only blame the bottle and a half of vineyard special consumed earlier. -
I think a lot depends on what area of the country you are in. I believe that certain police forces decide to have a clamp down on this type of think every now and again. It's not just the illegal tints as round here the latest trend is the non street legal registration plates. Some of them are so obviously illegal that is defies belief.
