Well, ive had my tints done for almost 2 days now, only got round to taking pics this afternoon, inbetween all the showers and sun, gave it a quick wash and here are aload of pics for you to view, comments please............ Hi Chris Yes £100 does sound cheap, and yes it will take around 90mins to do, mine was around that sort of time. With 16s and 30mm drop, should run smoothly mate :D

As far as im aware Chris, you dont have to get them fitted by ford as they are a genuine ford part anyway. I never got mine fitted by Fords and i was told that was ok. As for the ride, have you still got 16"s on, or have you upgraded?? I have the 18" ST alloys and i think my ride is very good, sticks to the road and handles well :D Also, if that £100 fitting is Fords quote, that aint bad, some people i know on the forum have been ripped off by about £240 just for labour!!!

Excellent...:wink:...would be interesting to find out as the VW windows are definitely darker. Not by much mind, but they are certainly darker. Peatsie mate, just took me motor to get tinted, being done as i type this, i asked him to test the windows on mine to find out the factory tint, and he said no need, as he tested one a few weeks ago, and its at the legal limit of 75% tintage. I know you say the Passats looks darker, well i cant help you there. Ask your mate to speed past a copper and then when he is pulled, ask them to test the window for ya :lol: Hope this helps in some way

So i take it from Archeci's comments, i can tint the rear windows (quarter panel windows) and the rear window, and i will be ok? Obviously dependant on the % of tint?

Oh yeh, not touching the front craig, as ive heard its illegal to even touch the front ones now?? :? But yeh i have a 3 door, so back quarter panel windows and the rear window, not sure on tintage yet, i decide when i take the car the garage. The bloke at the garage knows all the legal limits apparently so i can chat to him about that before deciding of my % of tint :D
