  1. Cant say I have seen anything, but being double din shouldnt be a huge effort to achieve. Considered doing it myself as I have a spare shuttle mobo kicking about, but dont think I spend enough time in the car to justify it. Faithless could probably advise as to modifying the centre console.
  2. Bare in mind 30mm isnt low rider territory - its more a driving modification than a cosmetic modification. You'll be looking at coilovers for anymore though I would have thought,
  3. Tony - is the bar already there on yours or are the top mount covers just black. Difficult to tell and I havent checked my own to be honest.
  4. Simple answer would be to get a side by side shot of both I guess. Alternatively get the part from ford, and offer it up to the top mounts before unwrapping it. :)
  5. Worth talking to them at length before going ahead. Let them see the car, get it up on the ramps. Make sure they have tools for the job. The chap that did mine didnt use compressors, rather some cleaver trickery with the the height of the ramps and and some large extendable axle stands.
  6. 300 great british pounds with Chris Knott. I'm 29 with 10-11 years without a claim. This covers wheel, exhaust, and body modifications.
  7. Your biggest problem is that there will be few garages that have changed the springs on a MK2 yet. Dont forget that we are a small minority of hardened focus owners :) I took mine to national tyres. The manager there knew his limits and insisted I take the car down first for him to check it out. Any mechanic with a set of ramps and a bit of know how should be able to do it though. :)
  8. Springs will set you back between £85 and £130 depending on what you go for. Usual candidate would be Eibachs as they are the factory option as detailed above. As for your warranty, replacing the springs will only affect the warranty on the springs themselves, and it is highly unlikely that they would even question it, being a factory option. Had mine fitted for £85 with alignment. £1000 - rubbish! You can probably double this (ish) for ford to do it reallistically. Reversal is no different to doing it in the first place. ESP will price match if you can find them cheaper. I got them to p
  9. Couldnt say for definite, but would imagine it to be some sort of spring clip affair. Similar to that found on the scuttle panel on the MK2. Personally I'd plump for some adhesive too, just to be on the safe side. Thats a heck of a lot of money to lose :)
  10. The bar is angled backwards towards the cabin I think, so should be OK. Fallguy, I also asked tezza a few days ago, so he should hae an answer instantly :)
  11. Hey - get in line :) Want to check the actual cost with Tezza first though.
  12. Before I forget - http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/ford ... ights.html Few more light styles for you to dribble over :)
  13. I am currently looking into this. There are no aftermarket efforts, though the ST does have a strut brace. Just waiting for confirmation that it will fit. Looks that it should looking at pics. :)
  14. Just to clear something up - I believe the rack limiters are employed to prevent the wheel fouling on one of the cross members, rather than scrubbing. Either way, there is no fouling or scrubbing without them :) (and for me, bigger wheels mean my sills dont catch on the monstrous speed bump outside our office :) )
  15. Hi and welcome :) Which induction kit did you fit out of interest?
  16. If you change the springs, you may invalidate the warranty on the springs only. Chances are though this will not be an issue as they are an optional fit. I got mine done with National Tyres for £85 including alignment. basically 2 hours labour and free alignment.
  17. Ta muchly :) Theres a few floating about ebay for £20 for the pair, so should the need be too great, I'm sure I can get them on there :)
  18. I favour the carbon one myself, bit too much american-esque bling to the all chrome one.
  19. If Craig doesnt go for it, let me know how much you are looking for. Might have to wait until next Friday though. (I really am that skint this month!)
  20. I will probably kick myself for sharing this later, but I simply cant justify it at the moment. Poorly described, means this is probably going to go for a fraction of what it should. Full 3 door MS Designs Kit - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Focus-Body-K ... dZViewItem Currently a ludicrous bargain, and I only wish I attractive enough to sell my body! :)
  21. I may be tempted with the steering control myself if craig doesnt go for it. (Assuming it will work alongside the AVX2)
  22. Yep - looks like the standard ford grille with Chrome frame. Is the grille strictly part of the dress up kit? Pehaps Jo could clarify this for us.
  23. Hmmmm wonder why i dont have one on my MS design kit then :? Looks like the standard chrome frame grille on yours Rocky. Do you have Chrome mesh? The MS Designs effort has this.
