no mate ive replaced the tie rods on a 56 plate it depends on which plant your vehicle was built at

well this is your problem mate take it to your dealer its done under warranty

the rear discs corrode quite badly thru lack of use ive seen them before replaced at that mileage

recall from ford creak from steering,when the focus was built at certain plants they fitted the incorrect grease to the steering rack tie rods take your focus to your dealer and they will replace the tie rods

just pop the surround off and you,ll find 4 torx self tapers unscrew them and out comes the set

try looking at the roll restrictor which is the mounting that bolts to the subframe and gearbox,ive took them off before turned them upside down rebolted them and the noise has gone let me know if this is successful thanks scott
