when im standing still the rev counter keeps moving up n down so it goes below 1000

hi there when im driving my car and i come to a red light the rev counter goes below 1000 and the engine has nearly cut off, i took it to ford they looked at it and dey said they couldnt find the problem causing it so they had to ring ford tech and they looking for the problem and my car has been gone for to days.. has anyone else had the same prob ?

i was in a zetec climate 1.6 (100bhp) 05 reg, and the mpg clock on da the car kept changing while the car was moving ? is that normal beacuse my titanium 1.6 (115bhp) 55reg, doesnt do that

i went to my ford dealers an they said they dont have the prices for that body kit, and said that it aint available to buy, only when u buy a new car
