  1. Hi Darando. Car out of warrenty just 3 weeks :-( But got it working again. Hopefully it will stay working now. Took 5 disconnects to finally fix it. Thanks for the Step by Step. :-)
  2. Hi Darando tried that there now. It reset the connection (the bonding) but still now joy. I can find the Ford Audio on my phone. It asks me for the PIN. When I enter 0000 it says connected and the radio displays N95 then "Disconnected" as many times as I retry it just jumps from Connected to Disconnected. The Nokia Box must be fried or something.
  3. Hi hi again. No fuse 108 or 112 starts at 37 and ends at 60 something :-( Its detecting my phone ok. Then jumps to Disconnected straight away. Have tired a 6230i and N70 to rule out it being the phone.
  4. Hi Newcott. Will give that a go and let you know :-) Cheers
  5. Hi Slacker. Many thanks. Ive had the N95 working for the past 7 months so not sure why it would stop working now. The same error appears on the Blackberry. Maybe I just need a new car :-) Bugs in the software a subtle hint time to change.
  6. Spoke too soon. Can't connect to it now. Voice control is back and BT signal is back but cant pair any phone to it!!! Any further help greatky appreciated. Had my BB and N95 paired. Neither will pair now both with an error. Newcott your still in with a chance :-)
  7. Hi Guys - Removing the Live wire for 20 seconds worked a treat. May thanks. Saves a trip to the dealer :-) Much appreciated guys.
  8. Hi Guys, Cheers for that. Will give it a go now and see how it goes. Much appreciated. Alan.
  9. Hi Newcott. I have tried removing the radio (completely power etc) but upon entering the Security code problem still remains. There is also no BT signal being emmitted from the car either.
  10. Hi Guys, I have a factory fit BT and Voice control module in a 2006 Focus. It has stopped working (Phone button on radio now just brings up MUTE on screen and Voice button on stalks has no response) Has this happened to anyone? Car is just 3 weeks out of warrenty hoping there is a quick fix.
  11. Hi AFApe, Mine returns to the same station or same CD tracks which ever maybe the case. But usually just press VOICE button and say "Hang Up"
  12. Sure no prob. PM them when back in the office tomorrow. The guy really seems know his stuff. The Add-Ons can be any brand you get on e-bay. simply work from the output. Been tricking around with it tonight (till the neighbours complained..OOps..) The site is www.med-italy.com but the model pages are down now as they are updating
  13. Hi Darando, Was advised against the Clifford with pager for the MKII focus. Had a MED alarm fitted in the basement of work this morning. €300 for 3 hours labour and the alarm. Not bad. Also the alarm can be flashed for use in any other make/model if I change. Its not too fancy but it is very user firendly and uses the Ford wiring so all doors/boot/bonnet etc is monitored along with internal sensors and tampering. Works on the Ford key so no extra FOBs to carry around and the internal sensor can be turned off if you are leaving a dog/baby in car or window open. He spent an extra 30 minute
  14. No gadgets on show. But the rings from the window mount must have teased them in. Was parked in Drumcondra. Well lit street. Plenty of other cars.
  15. To be fair they took the car to the Scene's Of Crime Unit. Had it gone for 3 hours fingerprinting etc. All the same reckon that an alarm would have given them less time inside the car. For piece of mind and sanity having a Clifford with pager installed tomorrow AM.
  16. Should cheer you all up :-) Some nice gent decided throw a boulder through the window and clear out my contents for me. Did leave the Air-Freshner though. Monkey must have frightened him away.
  17. Good point. I have looked at the under-side of the seats. There are at least 3 sets of electrical cables going into them I know some are for the airbag etc but im guess ing that they are prewired for heating. As for the ESP it would be a big ask to think all it needs is a button. All this aside they looms are powered so must terminate a full circuit and serve some purpose.
  18. Hey rickm550, Ive been away for a bit. Glad to see the place is still doing very very well. I'm going to have to do something with the two live looms I have. Can't have a nice upgrade just sitting there doing nothing. Not the FFOC way :D
  19. Try out www.dipetane.com proper magic stuff. If its good enough for Coke its good enough for me :-)
  20. confused. Ok I have a Zetec and it has just the two buttons. Heated front and back screen. But the wiring looms are behind the two other covers. Does this mean that by getting the switches that Heated Seats and ESP will be available. They have power going to them. Must do something? Is the passenger airbag button not located inside the fron of the glove-box when fitted??
  21. This looks like one neet piece of kit. Though all the info can be seen by entering TEST mode before starting the car. You do have to do thsi every time though :-(
  22. Thought about that. Checked my reciept they didnt charge me for an Air Filter so not sure. Will get someone to rev the engive while I stand over it see if can find exact location. Its still under warrenty was just curious if any1 had heard it before. It actually sounds cool :-) but guessing its prob better fixed.
  23. Hi Guys, Have a 06 MKII focus. Had its first service 2 weeks ago. Since then if you rev it a little while in park or accelerate hard through the gears there is the sound of air being sucked in somewhere under the bonnet from the engine. The best way I can describe it is like a dump valve from a Glanza but not as loud. Any ideas. Possible problem beginning to flare up?
  24. Nope. KA/FIESTA/FUSION/FOCUS/MONDEO/GALAXY/RANGER/TRANSIT ;-)
  25. Hi Rick, Just spent the lunch break putting it together. Not as straight forward as I thought. Basically the loom ( and quadlock) they give you you can disgard. I had to cut the Black and Red cables going from the back of their loom(Quadlock) and stick them into my current Quadlock in the same location. I then had to dismantle the the WHITE 12 PIN connecto and remove the Brown Purple and white cables (Which feed to the AUX at the back of the glove-box and feed in the three from the KIt. Its working (Charges when turn key in ignition and music plays through when select AUX on head-unit). But
