I have a style, the wheels are 16" steel with alloy lookalike covers. From a distance you can't tell there not alloy :)

Anyone know how much you can boost the 90PS 1.6TDCi?

I've got a style edition, its a company car not my own. To be honest I was suprised to see the engine was 90BHP. It feels fine in every day use but you won't be winning any races. Even with a full load the engine feels fine and drives just like I was on my own. MPG is very good if driven carefully, i've had 72MPG once driving from Nottingham to Wigan. Trim level, your right it's badged as a Zetec but it's missing alloy wheels, heated front windscreen and front fog lights. I've got a Zetec with the same mirror problem. Anyone got a fix from Ford on this or is it just poor quality?

I have this but i found it was the seat back trays causing the creak. In the up position it goes away!

I get loads of rattling, creaking, squeeking. It's a standard feature of the C-Max :lol:

I have the zetec side mirrors, how easy is it to add the side repeater mirrors like the Ghia has?

Checked the rev's for you when driving home up the M1 yesterday. At 80MPH it sits at 2,500 RPM. Hope that helps.

I got the 72MPG doing a very steady 70MPH up the M6 :D

Mines sits at 80 comfortably. Only trouble I have is if it's up hill and I need to accelerate, it lacks the power then. I may be wrong because I don't really notice my revs but I think at 80 it sits around 2,800 to 3,000 rpm. If driven carefully you'll get some very nice MPG figures. My record up the M6 was 72 MPG.

I think I have a blanking plate as well. As you open the glove box its on the upper left. I checked behind the glove box and theres some wires but i don't want to mess around incase i blow something up! Anyone have some info on wiring up the aux socket? Paul.

Anyone know if its usual for C-Max's to creak and squeak like an old car when they're only 3 months old with 4k miles on the clock? From what I can tell the squeaking sound is from the suspension on the rear right hand wheel. When I push the wheel down I hear the same sound as it bounces up and down. The creaking seems to be coming from the middle of the car, behind driver’s side. It almost sounds like the creaking may be coming from the roof or door posts but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe its some g-force stress on the chassis? The sounds happen when I go around corners a lo

Just checked the co2 output and it matches the 90Bhp engine. You'll have to let me know what you think of yours when it turns up! I think the engine is fine for my needs. It's certainly ok cruising on the motorway.
