They are not ford alloys!, pretty sure that are aftermarket. Looked at the ford brochure, in detail and zoomed in to that picture, if they are the ones you I think you're talking about the stud holes are in the wrong place. The stud holes are in between the spokes in the picture the ones in the brochure are in line with the spokes. I am pretty sure about it anyway, have a look in more detail although and make your own opinion! Take it all back if ford have got another brochure in circulation! lol

Its not good is it, when they found my current one it took 2 blokes 4 hours just to clean the outside of it! Should go down the route of Audi, the send their cars from the factory with all the panels wrapped in Cellophane, probably save money in theory with the cost of valeting etc, but hey they know whats right!!!

Its mad aint it!! When I had my 2nd focus it ended up a 10 week wait! They lost the car in Belgium, ended up demanding to speak to the head of vehicle distribution at ford, waste of time that was, "I can assure you sir we have not lost your car, it is definately in one of our compounds on mainland europe", nearly wet myself from laughin! Upside of it I had an ST170 of them for 3 weeks, some poor sod must own that car now! pmsl!!

Im going to phone up and confirm my delivery date on Monday so will let you all know, as I say the 1st of March was requested and didnt seem to think that was a problem. Mine was ordered on the 9th this month, although order wasn't sent till ford until the 10th. We will wait and see!!

I'm picking mine up on the 1st of March - my choice! The problem is options! They could order as many cars as they wanted before the 8th of Jan. But couldn't add options on to them until after the 8th of Jan (launch date). So most orders were not put through until the 10th (monday) hence the delays on delivery. I assume that yours is standard with no options tyrone?? Happy for you to prove me wrong though, thats only what I have been told!

Its easy! I got 2500 for my drive (the offer changed for some reason) then cos my old man had a drive they put 5000 on his card, which happens to be my spare card!! So I got 7500 in total!! :lol:

Only whats in the brochure to be honest, have the traction control in my 2.0 and its been useful. I admit I probably wont use it as much in the 1.6 vct ive ordered but as it comes with the esp/mba it should be pretty decent. Feedback from the dealers though and they said they would always recommend if available as an option and they were dissapointed that it wasn't standard in the first place (I think it pretty much is on every other car in the same class now), they showed me some pics of their day with Ford in Germany on the skid pan with esp on and off, they prefered it switched on I t

Black always looks good, but absolute * * * * to keep clean. If they invented a self cleaning process for cars i'd have one!

Erm keyless is ok but at £350 (less 25% if privilege) is expensive option and if you looking at future resale value it won't make any difference, but its a nice little luxury! At £250 (less the 25%!!) esp with traction assist and mba makes more sense to me!!!

Don't buy that one, im afraid. But hey im no expert!! He could of only had the car on Saturday (Ford rules, unless press etc) so he's done a few hundred in a day (possible) bust the clutch, got it back to the garage, ford authorised repair and its been fixed already (not possible!). And surely they are pretty much stock parts and standard on most of the Ford range with similar engines/drive so I wouldnt of thought faulty. - Need a techy to confirm that! Am I trying to convince myself here? Ordered one last week! lol

Only in the brochure mate, and it looks cac (picture does it no justice) but they did have one in the showroom, i would of probably gone for it if I hadn't seen it in tonic. Anyway i'd give the colour the thumbs up! If you don't go for that how about Honour Green?? Don't!! lol You can never really decide on a colour until you see it on the car in the flesh I think, wot ya reckon??

Went for the 1.6 ti-vct zetec climate 3 dr, was a nice drive, althouth aint got as much kick as the 2.0 now, but I'm happy with it and its meets my objectives of getting further than the end of the road on a tank of fuel!!!!

Yep it is standard on Zetec/Zetec Climate & Titanium. Not standard and not an option on the Sport, and from the picture in the thick brocuhure its doesn't look standard on the Ghia either, but it tends to lead you down the road of thinking its standard (very confusing!!!).

You're right, I would never buy a new car, without a privilege type discount. If I went anything other than Ford, it would be pre-reg or second hand i think. You might as well just burn your money!!

Just remembered, they did say the price of focus' in the book has gone down 450 a month for the last 2 months, obviously cos of the new model. They did say if I was to wait until March they will offer me no more than £6,250. With the ST though, id tell them I want no less than £9,500 and hope to get £9,000. Oh and why do they always ask, how much do you want for it? Like it makes any difference, how much I want for it, they always offer less anyway!!!! lol

I got £7000 for my 03 plate 2.0 Zetec 3dr (minor scrape on the bumper otherwise fine) which is pretty much book price, had it checked/valued by the finance company my sister works for prior to taking it to the dealers. Try to get a price for your car at another dealership before telling them you are a privilege customer. I have done that twice in the past and it made no difference to the PX price after telling them about the discount. The general manager did say that ford don't take to kindly to used cars being purposely undervalued by the dealers (especially for privilege p

Been to the dealers today as well, wasn't many people about to be honest, in my opinion the start of January aint really the cleverest time to launch a new car is it! They did say the have taken quite a few orders though in the last couple of days and a lot before the launch date.
