You are supposed to pay before taxing as I used to work for Ford so nothing fishy going on - don't worry. Best option to go down and inspect the car, once happy pay the monies on a debit card so they can tax it and collect next day - job done.

He’s right, because if they register the car and then for some reason you changed your mind and decide you don’t want the car then they have now got a second hand car. And you will have only lost your deposit what ever it may be; £250, £500…..

Which ones have you ordered the Ford ones or the torque steer? Aren't the ones Ford are going to produce the same?

Give your local Ford parts department a buzz matey - I'm sure they will be able to get them.

Carry out an HPi check to see what BHP it is. It won't be an alloy spare but you don't need it any way. If you are buying it from a Ford main dealer then you will be fine and have nothing to worry about.

Best to ask the broker matey as every ones delivery times differ, although if you are putting lots of options on your car it will probably be a factory order which will be a three month wait.

Contact the dealer who can look on their computer and get an ETA date, they won't mind you asking, in fact they should have told you.

What spec have you choosen? ST-2 3 door in orange with DEATC and bluetooth.

Yours isn't the only one delayed - mine has had four delivery dates and was supposed to be here at the beggining of Jan! The last delivery date I had was for the end of Feb now that has vanished which probably means a further delay!

First of all - good choice and secondly do not worry I had the electronic temperature control on my last Focus and it was fine no problems at all.

They shouldn't charge you for a key as it's suppose to have one.
