an update from another site !?!?!? :twisted: Details are sketchy but the ultimate Ford Focus will use the 2.5-litre turbocharged engine from the Ford Focus ST but with much more power – expected to be around 300bhp. Modifications to the turbo, air filter and exhaust will place the RS in direct competition with the new Subaru Impreza STi and Mitsubishi Evolution. It is hoped the Ford Focus RS will also benefit from the addition of four-wheel-drive. If fitted it will give the fast Focus the tools it needs to fully harness its power and deliver it to the road.

The Focus RS is back! Bosses at the blue oval have finally given the hot hatch the greenlight for production and they’ve even released this teaser image to give us a taste of what’s to come. Following in the footsteps of other legendary Fords such as the Escort RS Cosworth and the original Focus RS, the new model will reach showrooms in 2009, with a concept version debuting next year. HAS N E 1 CHANGED THERE HANDBRAKE COVER YET? I ORDER AND RECIEVED THE HANDBRAKE COVER THAT IS ON THE ST. WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAD ALREADY DONE THIS. THE INSTRUCTION SEEM TO SHOW THE HANDBRAKE COVER NEEDS TO BE CUT IS THIS TRUE? PLEASE ANY HELP?!

Looking at the state of some of the mk1-1.5's that have recently departed company from their owners and the thankfull lack of injuries suffered by the occupants I feel alot safer in mine, the mk2 has yet to really prove itself "not going off computer stats but from actual people telling their stories of real accidents". Dam!

install it anyway just get it done properlly. find sum1 who will come ur house one nite and do it for 50 pound.. theres lots of people who can do it, my flat mate for 1!

Mk2 is so much nicer to drive... the mk1s feel like go carts now. Interior looks dated. Its alrite if you havent got the money for a mk2 or you want to do alot of modificatons but apart from that why would you still want one? Mk 2 is refined and mite b more suit to middle age but the reason being is coz its more comfortable, nicer to drive safer, more reliable, all good qualitys but not those a boy racer would require (no offence intened) Ive stuck a set of 19s on my mk2 and trust me it gets attention. Once tinted and strips colour coded to the body work it'll look nice!

mk2 rocks.... theres a reason y they cost more..... there designed with current age in mind..... Mods will come but its always cool 2 b the 1st!

Ur lucky i put it in 4 a 1 crack in the hand brake button 2 Doors not alined properly causing water leak inside the car 3 rattle on the passenger door car 4 rattle on the volume controls on steerin column they had it a whole day and gave it back 2 me sayin they need a day to do it so to book it in another time..... confusin Then wen brought back in they didnt have it all done ie only number 2 was done... but not properly! so still leaked Took it back AGAIN and it got stolen from the workshop! had it 3 weeks and it was gone 7! lol criminals had dumped it round the corner to check if it

On my car you can only really tell in the dark when cars shine there lights on it. But when that happens its bad!! :shock:
