I sincerely hope not, I "think" people will always consider it of the Focus family for various reasons. Also I have had nothing but good advice and information off this site which has been very useful so I'd hate to see it go.

Well I just called Polar Frauds to ask for a progress report, it'll be ready in 10 minutes but strange I had to ring them to find out... New fan and solenoid apparently, removed and refitted the rear view mirror, removed, lubed, adjusted and refitted both front seats, drained some of the engine oil as it was overfilled by them when it was serviced. As for the gearbox issues they cant find anything wrong.

Well it went in this morning to have a long list of things looked at, some of which I'm probably being picky about. Noticed with the fan coming on in the morning the temp guage goes right up to 100 degrees then drops down after a few minutes so probably a fautly sensor or sender unit. As for the clutch/gearbox stuff we'll see.... Looked a right plank climbing in and out of the Ka they gave me though lol

Doesnt sound like it has Bluetooth in it mate, it would normally have a bluetooth symbol written somewhere on it. If it has the phone button I'd say it definately isnt bluetooth enabled.

I am getting about 200miles to £20 worth in my 1.6TDCi but thats ALL B road and town driving. Not sure if thats good or not...

Nope but with the sun visor pushed fully forward I cant see the road properly, if I lower the seat I cant drive it properly. :roll:

Well I would guess that rev range is the main "band" of the turbo so my guess would be the ECU is either under or overfuelling it as the turbo is feeding it in. Not much help but I hope you get it sorted!

Mine is Panther Black and appeared to be filthy after just 20 miles from cleaning it....which i was pleased about...NOT! lol

Does it foul the rear wiper like alot of others do?

Hey all, I have a 54plate C-Max LX with the 6000CD I believe in it, its not got an Aux button on it, its the one with CDDJ one side and PHONE the other on. My question is, is the wiring already in place for the autochanger and if so what one do i need as I dont really want to go direct to Ford. Ta Paul.

Recently bought a 54plate 1.6 TDCi LX in Panther Black. Dislikes: Creaks and groans from the plastics. Poor A pillar visibility. Wooden brakes - either on or off, not easy to graduate them. Likes: Handling. Space. Economy - Was alarmed at the amount of people complaining about the fuel economy especially on the 1.6 TDCi but I recently stuck £41 worth in from it having the petrol light on and have done 461miles and the lights just come back on. Not bad if you ask me. :D

I never noticed mine when i got it on Saturday, must have gone off very quickly but this morning it stayed on for over 10 seconds before it went out, drove to the petrol station a mile away, and it stayed on for another 5-6 seconds when i restarted it.

If I want to find out the MPG I tend to brim the tank, do 50 miles and then go back to the same place and brim it again, cant be bothered using the whole tank to find out the fuel consumption lol

Just found an auction on Ebay for the details on how to unlock the dashboard on a range of new Fords including the C-Max, Focus, Fiesta, Fusion etc. Seems to be a Ford dealership behind the Ebay login or at least thats how its intended to look so for 99p I bought it, havent recieved the destructions yet but wondered if anyone has done this and had any issues?
