ken i can get the 6 cd number easily but the mp3 ones not so easy to get a reasonable price :cry:

the screen looks okay when playing dvds but when on the radio im sorry but it looks very cheesy and tacky with the big numbers and on screen buttons its like something out the early learning center :lol:

i dissagree i think that dvd head unit when on the radio the screen looks cheap and nasty with the blue , green , yellow screen screen and child like buttons for changing station ect

very nice . not seen this exact one but seen one with the blue ring of light round the volume button in halfords and it looks very good lit up plus its kenwood so it will sound good :wink:

strange one that happening out of the blue especialy both in one go :shock: by intake do you mean the hard pipe from the filter to tubo ? :?: vacum will no doubt just be a small bore rubber number thats has perrished due to rubbing or o close to a heat sorce . if it is the intake from filter to turbo that would mean either weak pipe to begin with or over boosting sucking in far to much air to flow through the pipe or possibly a clogged filter . did ford not give you an explination of what happened ? :shock:

two pounds odds sounds good to me cheers fallguy is the above part all i need for the sterio end ? it just plugs straight into the back of the head unit aye ? gonna make it so i can hook my n73 to the sterio as it has a good mp3 player function and a big memory card

the above lead what connections does it use ? it it just two standard 3.5mm jack ? male ends ?

fitting an amp requires two connections at the back of the cd player like the ones on your tv and house hifi's one red and one white . its shapped like a circle with a hole in it have a look at the back of your tv and you will see what i mean . you will also need a wire comming from your sterio which is a remote wire which tells your sub to power up when your head unit is switched on . lastly you will need to run a power cable from the battery to your boot . sounds complicated but its easy once you have done it before . as to whether the sony head unit has line outs (thats what they call the

saying that the spray of oilly tye fluids would point towards some thing a bit more sinister

possibilly just one of the turbo hoses poped of was there a whooshing sound when it went flat ?

dam just bought some colour coded wing mirror covers :( wish i had seen this first altho id geuss i could cut them to fit the lenses . do the lenses fit / clip in to the actual wing mirrors ? so when the covers are removed the lenses stay clipped in place ?

just push them under mate . i havent done it in a mk2 focus but just done it in a mondeo . you should be able to push it in with out removing the trim

the actual cover on the opposite side from the glass . i bought some colour coded covers but dont know how to get the origionals off

what do you mean if they have seen sence and done away with the 1.4 ? not every one wants a fast car alot of folk just want a cheap reliable car to run around in . my ex car was a stage one s14 200 sx running 220 - 230 bhp and i can tell you power isnt the be all and end all . i think the 1.4 is what its designed to be a comuting car which is cheap to run and a very good addition the ford focus line up so there lol :lol:

mmmm think ill have to investigate . it seems such a waste having the screen with the ellement and not having it functioning . any one know where the conections are for the loom and the screen where it if you like plug in?

but with the element in it :( / :D ? lol wonder how hard it would be to wire it up ? do you think that the loom will be there ready to wire it in ?
