  1. One of my friends wants to purchase a Siemens HKW 600 bluetooth car kit. In its description page, it says if the car's audio supports, this product gets audio volume on/off when a call comes . Any info on that? Does our SONY mp3/CD player (single CD) support this feature (in ghia) ? Thanx in advance..
  2. It is a known problem which happened to my car..As said before, it is solved by software update (45 minute work in the service)..
  3. Additionally, it happened very first week after he took the car, I mean the car was brand new..Service mechanics told my friend that this is not an important problem but the sound is annoying... I think you'd better to listen another 2.0 tdci on a cold start !! If the sound is different from yours , this could be a hydraullic valve lifter problem. I think both 1.6 and 2.0 tdci engines have hydraullic valve lifters but 1.6 16V petrol engine has a mechanically adjustable part ..
  4. Could this be a hydraullic valve lifter problem or whatever it is if your car is a tdci ? Sorry I don't know the exact English word for this part  1.6 16V petrol engine doesn't have this part but 1.6 tdci has (I don't know 1.6 ti-vct, 1.8 and 2.0 petrols or 2.0 tdci engines) .. It happened to one of my Cmax friends, once. He left his car in the service garage for one night, then next morning service mechanics started the engine, heard that sound and easily diagnosed the problem. They replaced one hydraullic valve lifter ("hidrolik sübap itici" in Turkish) and the problem solved. M
  5. Yes it is photoshopp and it's a coupe for there is no rear door. Front bumper imported from Subaru Impreza. Vinyl is nice though..
  6. Have a look at this topic.. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65480 But this couldn't be the same because terdal has not reported any power loss of steering and pedals. His situation was a typical safe home mode..
  7. Nice car mate...Why didn't you get the roof rails. They look very well in a new focus SW, IMO.
  8. Yes, it is chatted about here before .. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68400
  9. Could be the supension, Jakx. It happened to me and I told it here. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52890
  10. Ink blue is available here for F2
  11. I'm not sure if I understand you right but some aftermarket parking sensors SHOULD not be painted. If you paint them , they don't work...You'd better ask the producer or applier for painting them.
  12. Kwaker; there is no "seagrey" available ; but there is a "seablue" available here. You can see it at this URL http://www.sahsuvaroglu.com.tr/ford/focus_rnk.htm It is the one which is showed as "Deniz Mavisi". And be careful not "Denim mavisi". You must look at Deniz Mavisi. Hope this helps :)
  13. They look and work very well but I personally think that "wood effect" frame surrounding them is hideous. I think it must be replaced with titanium's..Sorry I couldn't find a picture but you can see it in new focus brochure (992 kb; .pdf format) at this URL http://www.ford.co.uk/static/silo1:vehi ... popup/-/-/
  14. S..... definitely 2000 EEC (euroIII) and no particle filter..
  15. Thanks ucsman :D Great info..Will have a look ASAP..
  16. Lappinkulta, have a look at this topic.. http://www.fordeurope.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1443 If you can find a Ford Ecat (electronic catalogue), you can tell it with VIN. For a 1.d tdci engine dpf is the key factor. If your car has dpf it is euroIV.
  17. I agree with that. I still too much love my Cmax. Problems were minor and solved easily. I wrote those words in detail; because new focus may have common problems with c-max . I want to inform new focus owners about them. I also think that new focus owners'd better visit C-max section.
  18. I'm not incapable of doing that, mate ! I can do it ... I come home, wife and kid gets off . Now I 'm gonna make a park maneovur. A reverse generally. After that reverse I will already unbuckle the belt and leave the car. So what good of doing that maneovur with a sealed belt. I can better see the wall or other cars by turning when the belts off. I can do it with the belts on as well and sometimes do. But, with an unbuckled belt, it is easier.
  19. Nope, they are 16" alloys with 205 55 16 tyres. My things to do list for this car ıf I'd buy one - Change wheels ..with 17''s if I can afford (alloys+225 45 17 tyres). If I can't, with a nicer 16" alloy. - Lower the car (I think suspension kits will be available within a couple of months) - Paint foglight covers with body color - Change wood effect surrounding SONY audio with titanium's or trend's.
  20. - For the ones who cannot afford mondeo but still like it too much :D Such as me
  21. I think this is an urban myth :) My car is a Cmax 1.6 tdci which is produced in Saarlouis , Germany. It had some rattles, unworking clipses, flimsy plastics etc.. The main source of rattles was SONY audio (mp3/CD player). I took the car to the service for that rattle. Service manager said that SONY audio's rear wirings deny tight mounting and audio itself makes rattles. They fixed it, but happened again 2-3 weeks later. Then I took the car to the service again. They fixed it again. This time it's okay. The cover that surrounding gear had an unworking clips so one side was higher than t
  22. Then, don't take make words seriously  8)
  23. Yes, this is the focus 4 dr. Dealers began to deliver it here. This one is a ghia.. 4 dr is, certainly, higher than 5/3 dr as you can see and I think it needs a huge drop. Also I don't like this ghia alloy wheels. Orange coloured rear stop bulb seems ugly to me. It needs to be replaced with a nicer one also.
