  2. Hi guys, I am planning to upgrade my CD Player from the standard oldish looking one, to the new Sony MP3 one. My question is, would it be a simple swap, I wouldn't have to change anything on the dash to get it to fit in smoothly? Thanks for any advice! B
  3. Haha sounds great  Few months before Xmas when we had those massive floods, I was stuck in one of the worst places possible - Stratford-Upon-Avon. The flood water was touching the bottom part of the grill. Everyone was driving up kirbs just to get better clearance off the gorund. After I finally got out of it all, I sounded my horn and it was High Pitched!! even now it sounds VERY odd, it tends to go from a deeeeep sounds (normal sound) to a very  high pitch! Guessing water has got into some part of the horn area and caused that to happen. I bet my alarm will sound ver

  9. Ohh nice bargain! That picture above was taken off ebay, some guy has been selling the odd alloy here n there for around £40 per alloy!!! I was so gutted, he actually sold a set of 4 Alloys for a one day listing and sold them for £395, brand new boxed alloys!! Now thats a bargain! guttted I missed it though  Thanks B
  10. p5byn, I keep seeing those wheels around and about, and they are starting to grow on me, I did want 18" alloys (from Ford) but I got quoted £1500 from local Ford Dealer - alloys shown below: I cant seem to find anywhere else that sells those Alloys at a reasonable price ^^^ How much did your alloys cost you, and where abouts did you purchase them from? Thanks mate, B

  13. Timbo, My plan is to purchase a new strip of black plastic that goes on the bumper (Shown in the picture in the above posts).. Dave & Mikey kindly told me how to do it. They said (well you can read it above, but ill tell you from what i can remember  ) 'key' the bumper strip with 800 dry n wet s/paper / spray with plastic primer and then spray with the spray-can from Allen ford (panther black) - then I THINK you spray it with that CLEAR COAT stuff, to give it a glossy type of shine?? Im NO expert at all, so please dont use that advice   Cheers! B
  14. I'm pretty sure if you type in your Reg number into the Allen Ford site it finds your car and colour, and sends on the correct colour match? Click on this link: http://www.ford-shop.com/acatalog/Ford_Focus_MK2_Maintenance_Service.html Scroll to the bottom.. - Because I shall be wanting the same Panther Black Paint as you Timbo :) Cheers, B PS. Thanks for the info Dave, will buy some of that sandpaper! I had a quick look over Ebay last night, but couldn't seem to find any '800 wet or dry paper'. I could see some called 'Mirka 240, 400, 600 and 1000 Grit Wet N Dry' ? Grit sa
  15. Hey Mikey! Ohhh I see, Im guessing I can key it with any type of sandpaper, as long as I get the bumper smooth? The plastic primer, could that be purchased from my local Halfords? - Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I get it all right! Thanks again! B
  16. Thanks dave, will keep you all informed! Could you spray paint any peice of plastic on the car, even if its not 'primed'? Say if I purchased a new plastic strip for the rear bumper, and purchased the spray from Ford, and sprayed it black, would that be ok? Thanks guys! B :P
  17. Thanks mate, will bare that in mind  B
  18. Mikeyg! Thanks for the link - great help! I will now get that sorted ASAP! Another quick question, do you do the colour coding yourself, if so, where do you get the brush/spray from? :) Thanks again guys! B
  19. Hey guys, Thanks for the speedy reply!!! That’s the one main reason why I like this forum, speedy replies! :P Do you have an idea where I would get that strip of plastic from, and do I have to remove the actual bumper to remove the grey strip? I would like to install the parking sensors myself, a good sense of achievement when tackling something yourself! Thanks again! B

So today I decided to sign up   - so Hello to you all !! Today, I reversed  into a tight stop, one side was a 4 foot drop, and the other was a narrow gap between me and a range rover! . . I was more worried about how far across to go (to avoid that drop!) but I completely forgot how far BACK I was going hahaa... welllll basically I hit the wall and 'dented' the plastic part on the bumper.. it’s rough to touch, and I can s
