Darando, Right, I changed over the little cable thing to the radio loom and the Aux + steering wheel control now works :P Here's a few pics of my work y'day!: THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE THE LOT OUT SO I COULD HAVE A GOOD VISUAL TO WHAT I WAS DOING. - DONT ASK WHY I REMOVED THE GEAR KNOB AND GAITER :oops: :oops: END RESULT! I decided to mount it in a different place as it was a little easier to see it. Hi Darando! Thanks again for your help :lol: :lol: Right, I'm 99% sure I understand what you mean about swapping the connections. (i'll go and do it now!)/ As for the speakers, the radio works fine (all speakers), its just when I receive a call or the little Parrot lady talks its only the front 2 speakers. It doesn't bother me to much about that as I can hear it very clear. As for the AUX cable, I did fit this when doing the Parrot, so I'll go and change them over now. As promised I'll get some pictures up today! I'm also doing a bit of spray painting for the first time! Th

Darando, Right I've wired it all up! Yes, what you described above about the few little problems, I actually have! It DOES say GOOD BYE when I turn the key off :) Only the FRONT 2 speakers work. and NO the Steering Wheel control doesn't work anymore! Look forward to hearing from you :lol: :lol: Pics to follow! Hi Darando, I thought i'de connect all the cables together in the house and take it round to the car just to connect SOT cable to the radio. What happened? IT WORKED! She came on, connected, spoke to me and everything :lol: I sent & received a phone call and she was saying what I was doing, eg. SETTINGS I noticed it never came up with my phone book, but I only had it connected for 10mins as I had to nip out. I'm going to B&Q tomorrow to get that sticky stuff and wire it all & make it look tidy. I'll post a few photo's when I'm done! Thanks for all your help mate,

Hi Darando, Once again, thank you for the quick reply! You will be pleased to know, I NOW UNDERSTAND HOW IT ALL FITS TOGETHER! To be honest, I was worried about cutting wires and stuff like that, but as I dont have to do that in this case, thats OK :D I had a look at the link you gave me and it does seem very simple, HOWEVER... my SOT cable does look different to the one pictured. I connected all the cables together and found there's one cable from the parrot kit not connected. This is because I have a slightly different cable - even though on the ebay action it did say SOT-092 For

Hi Darando, Thank you VERY much for the detailed how to!! I have a few more questions to ask you :oops: . . . . . . I've changed over the 5v fuses orange & red (will show you piccy). I have the SOT cable, but still not sure where these cables go? Pics to follow: SOT cable fits into that / other end fits into radio CHANGED FUSES OVER ORANGE / RED - this correct? Hi all, I have a few things i've ordered off Tezza and they have arrived Primed (ready to paint) I've also ordered x2 Ford Panther Black Spray Cans. What I want spraying is: mk2 - 5dr Side Strips and the Boot Lip. How do I go about doing it? - I'm guessing I clean the plastic first, spray on the black then spray on the other clear coat? Or do I spray the black, let it dry, spray it again, let it dry and do the same twice with the clear coat? Any tips to give me? :lol: Thanks all! B

hi all, Thanks for the replies guys - Ill get some pictures up soon. What gets me is, what on earth do I plug them into, where do I plug these single wires saying LINE IN LINE OUT, MIC 1 2 3 etc.. thin little wires they are :shock: When I opened the box i was like Noooo :cry: What have I let my self in for!! I did phone ford earlier and asked them to fit it for me, but they wanted £170 Inc Labour! Haha, i said, while putting the phone down :lol: As mentioned I'll get some photos up if ut all ASAP! Hi all, I have a MK2 boot lip - side strips and door handles which need spraying panther black. Instead of paying big bucks to get a garage to do it, how easy is it to do myself?? If I was to purchase the correct colour Ford paint, how many times would you recommend I spray them?? Any tips? Thanks all! B
