Yes I can now report yet another fault with this bloody car! :evil: It is now going back to the dealers for a THIRD time. My wife drove to work as normal this morning parked up okay. Went to go home, key in ignition, wait for pre-heat turn....NOTHING! Had the RAC out. Turns out the main power lead from the battery has an in-line fuse which had blown! God knows why, the car hadn't moved all day!!! Mr RAC carried out a temp repair as you can't just change the fuse you need a whole new lead! So its back in tomorrow and whilst they're at it they can have a third go at fixing the knock on my susp

Nah, I cant be bothered with the hassle anymore. Still not happy with the suspension either but fed up with it being at the dealers so will wait a while before having another moan! :roll:

I got 56mpg from mine on a 250mile round trip @ 70ish on mways! :) Usually averages 42ish. (2.0l tdci.)

I guess if I didn't get the PRIV discount I would prob have gone for the zetec with add-ons too. As it is the only add-on I didn't get for my titanium that I wish I did is the MS-Designs body kit!!!! Soon to be rectfied though! :D

Okay so the zetec has a sporty look as well as the titanium. but it doesn't have full colour coding so imo looks a cheaper than the titanium. Was only having a laugh with the grand-dad thing. Are you looking for 5-door or 3? Ghia's not available in 3 is it? Anyway ford have the top of the range model on the way.... the new ST! I couldn't live with that walnut thing or 5 doors, but at the same time it is basically the same car! Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll be delighted with it, I know I am despite some teething problems! 8)

I guess I must of had the eibach kit fitted then! Thought it was just the sports suspension.

Its not that obvious, but it is defo lower. I questioned it with the salesman a while back and he showed me a standard car. I could fit four fingers between tyre and arch on the standard but not on mine!

The sports suspension is by ebiach and it DOES lower the car by 30mm. :)

:( Seems the suspension "clunk" is still there. Does'nt do it when turning or pulling away anymore. Will just put up with it for now as I can't be bothered with the hassle. Anyway the rattle was the main problem and thats gone!!! :D

Have sussed it. I didn't know you could change the temp format on its own! You just hold enter for 4 secs on the outside air temp!

Well I finally got her back. All is well no, rattles, clunks or anything else!!!!! :) Only thing is with the new computer I can't seem to select celcius as my temp reading as I could with my old one? Before when setting it to imperial all the distances etc were in imperial but the temp was celcius now its either all imperial or all mectric! :roll: Also as I've had a complete new suspension strut on one side only the car looks slightly lop-sided until it beds in!

Nice colour too. Mine should look just like that when I get around to getting the ms kit!

Well. Have just found out that I'm having a whole new Instrument panel and surrounding dash. Also some new parts on the suspension! Its staying with them till end of next week! :(

My focus is going back in to the dealer tomorrow for the third time! :( The rattle from the dash has got worse and they are removing the whole dash to re-clip the lot! Also I have an intermitent clunk from the suspension which they have so far failed to noitice on previous visits! I think I now know how to get it to clunk so will demonstrate it to the technician. I'm hoping this will be the last visit as I'm getting fed up with countless trips to the dealer! :roll:

finally got a call today to say my titanium badge is in........... a full 3 months and 3 days after delivery! :o

Yeah, still no joy! Will be speaking to H/F tomorrow. Have ditched their service team for being a bunch of prats with no customer service skills at all! Have switched all warranty and service to another main dealer! Am getting fed up with their excuses about the mats and badges too!

Do the c-max mats fit perfectly?

Have just had a call from my dealer to tell that ford will not be swapping my mats over as they are apparantly the top of the range mats already!!!! * * * * to that. I have e-mailed Ford direct, will wait and see. :evil:

Well, she's been back in and I've got her back! Finally she is back to her best! Looks as good as the day I picked her up! No swirls, patches or dull patches, just a shiney panther black focus!!! :D :D :D :D Shame it took two attempts but still! :lol:
