My Dad has a Diesel Astra (new shape) and he is convinced that the MPG is less when he uses Esso diesel??!!

I have a Titanium and the foot well illumination is superb, one of my favourite features of the MK2!! I can't believe Ford are that stingy that they just leave out the bulbs!!

I am on my second tank of diesel, and still driving pretty carefully but my average is gradually dropping down, now just over 49, the only thing I can put it down to is the diesel. (Tesco's first tank, shell second tank) I can't really understand why it's dropping off???

Just thought I would post a note to let everybody know my MPG off my first tank of diesel:- Trip average MPG = 50.2 Actual MPG = 50.3 (Calculated the good old fashioned way!) Firstly I am very impressed by the fuel economy and secondly I am amazed at how accurate the trip computer is! I did drive very steadily and I did do a 200 mile motorway journey. Be interested to hear other people's MPG figures

PA stands for Polyamide, basically Nylon!!

I got my little beauty yesterday as promised, both badge and mats are correct, I am over the moon with it. I have done 150 miles and have averaged 49.3 MPG, I have been driving like a saint though!!

I haven't found the handbrake position a problem, in fact I think it would be more awkward if it was on the right and very close to you.

I picked my Titanium up yesterday and it had it's correct badge!! Lucky me!!

I can change to MPG but then the DEAC reads out in Fahrenheit!!

Anybody know if it's possible to have temp. read outs in centigrade and fuel consumption in MPG? Rather annoying if not!!

I have read some where that if you hold the computer change button in for a few seconds whilst it is in the average consumption mode the display will then switch to show instantaneous, haven't tried it but might be worth ago!! I get mine tomorrow so I can try it for myself! Let me know.....

I pick up my Titanium on Thursday (28th April), I'll let you all know about the mats and the famous badge!! I'm keping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath! 8)

The spec. is 3dr 2.0TDCi Titanium (Euro 3, Euro 4 engine not available for ages), colour is Aquarius with blue and beige interior. Options are, DEAC, 17inch Alloys, & Interior styling pack. Can't wait to get it, haven't even test driven one!! So impressed with my old Focus MP3 (MK1.5) didn't even bother!
