Did the dealer want them back before the new ones arrive? I wasn't asked to take mine back but have been promised the correct ones at some stage. Yeah, they have the old mats now. Will get the new ones soon hopefully!

I had this problem. Have taken them back and am awiting the correct ones!

Got her back today. Very dissapointed. Not happy at all. They haven't touched the wheel. The spray job is * * * *-poor. Told them to have it back next week. Looks better than it did but I aint having a 2nd rate job. Theres paint swirls and scratches that weren't even there in the first place! The black looks more grey and they didn't even polish it! :evil:

Condensation in the exhaust is a common culprit of white smoke, particulary on cold damp mornings. :)

Well, I finally got my dealer to admit the mats are wrong. They've ordered new ones and will get them soon! :) Also now got the correct audio guide, still no titanium badge though! :(

So you had the same probs with the mats eh? When mine's been repaired its getting booked in for the courtesy check and hopefully all the problems will be sorted by then! If they're not then Ford are getting a big fat "UNSATISFIED" in the customer survey!

Maybe the economy will improve as the engine wears then!

She's going in on Monday for 4 days. :(

Done 1000 miles now and economy is just 38mpg! :shock: Really was expecting better from a diesel! I do drive fairly spiritedly but even so I was hoping for at least an mpg of 40-odd. :(

You will not believe the day I've had today!!! :evil: Parked up in a shopping center car park this morning as we left the car I noticed some idiot try and park next to me very badly. Fair enough, didn't realise the old st was only £16k!!!!! Well luckily for me I had extras fitted to mine to improve the handling and had a PRIV discount! So loucky me! If the old st was only £16k then it was a great buy! :o

Well I test drove the old st (coz the missus loved the one in the showroom!) and thought it was a great motor, however after owning a pug 306 gti6 I was left very disapointed in everyway! The ST170 is suppposed to be a drivers car?! Well compared to my old pug it was more like a learners car! Stiff and slow to react in every way. As I've said before, the st170 is undoubtedly a great car in the Focus range, but hasn't yet outdone its rivals. Is obviously a better car to drive than my titanium or is it!??? Well actually yes it is, but only just! So for the extra fuel economy and lower purchase

The st170 was THE top of the range Mk1 focus, the current top of the range focus is only the titanium, which maybe slower and slightly less refined but is still better than all the old focus except maybe the st and rs?. The next generation st will knock socks off the old one! :twisted:

So the st170 is far superior to drive than the new titainium? Whatever!!!!! :lol:

Set the steering to sport and the feel is fine. Admittedly it is a little light but have driven much worse! Low speed ride terrible??????? In which model was this? Coz mine is great! :shock:
