Well, got it back today. Drivers side rattle has gone, but now there is another on the passehger side! Also am looking into this mat business as I'm still not sure about it. May have to find another dealer and get a 2nd opinion!

Whats the latest on this mate. I have the same problem with the lack of instructions for the stereo. Also the mats I have do not look like the posh ones in the brochure. Let me know how you get on please. :)

Dealer is picking it up tomorrow and will have a look. On another note, have just realised the mats in my focus don not have the "focus" logo on them even though I have the interior styling pack! Have mentioned to dealer and have been told ford are no longer going ahead with this! Oh, well. :roll:

unlucky mate. Have to say, generally am v happy with car. I will not tolerate inerior rattles though! Straight back to dealer for them! :evil: No blowing noise for me though. Had to tighten a screw on the sun-visor mind!

No blowing noise. Only interior rattles. --I HATE INTERIOR RATTLES!

I, too have the 2.0l tdci. The only faults so far are interior rattles. Great engine though!

Having had my new focus just 4 days. I have already noticed some interior rattles! (This is my pet hate in a car and is one of the reasons I got rid of my pug!). I have managed to fix one of them. It was the sun-visor screw loose. There is, however a really annoying rattle coming from the drivers door. I shall be getting it back to the dealer asap, but I hope this is not the sign of things to come. If so, my slightly re-newed faith in FORD will be rock-bottom again and I shall be swapping for something German and well-made asap!

It is VERY responsive isn't it? I prefer to feel the wheels on the road and prefer the "sport" setting. Standard is a good mix of the two though. Just getting used to the angles of the car. Tricky to park at the mo, but I'm sure I'll get used to it! :)

1) On the Titanium, you can adjust the steering to: standard, sport or comfort. It then adjusts the amount of power assist accordingly! 2) Hav had sports suspension fitted, (30mm lower) and it still looks high. 3) Extras: 16" upgraded to 17" alloys. Sports suspension. Interior styling pack. (sills look ace!) Admiral and they will only replace with standard spec! So if my motor gets nicked tomorrow, I lose £900 straight away!

Well, I finally got mine today!!! Have to say, very impressed by some of the gadgets! Great drive, can't believe you can tell the computer to adjust the steering as required!!! The suspension needs to fall in a bit. Very dissapoinyed with my insurance to hear they won't insure the optional extras. Will change to someone who does very soon. Will post piccies soon!

my build date was 8th march, delivery is tomorrow! Only 2 week gap for me. :)

I used chandlers ford. Have to say they've been very good. This is my first decent ford, so I hope its a goodun!

Think this will be the longest 4 days of my life! :lol
