  1. menzies26, Cheers for the info, I just getting myself confused for no reason. Whats the difference between tracking and wheel balance ?
  2. Hi All, You know the more you think about something the more confused you get well thought I would just post on here to get my head straight. My steering wheel seems to be getting more shakey at higher speeds & just wondering what would cause this. Cars only 5 months old 7.5k on the clock its been lowered (if that matters) I do live down an unmade road could that effect the tracking ? if so how much would it be for this to be looked at ? Any advice would be great. Cheers Nick
  3. Yay, I'll be getting that then, Craige, can you let us know when they releas it (or need testers ? ) Nick
  4. GiggsIrish, Try removing fuses numbers 108 & 112 108 is the radio, 112 is audio & navigation accessories. Make sure you have your radio code when you pull out 112. Thats what I did when mine screwed up. Nick
  5. Do'h miss read it. My bad everyone, (it tasted so sweet if only for a moment) Nick
  6. I think there was a choice of two fuses, (sorry I'm at work atm and can't check) In the handbook one was radio the other was in dash instruments or something (for some reason I keep thinking Fuse 27 ?!?!) Nick
  7. Hi Giggs, I had an issue where after missing a call & my phone going dead it seem to consues the radio and wouldnt turn off or anyother buttons, ( i was sutck with tim westwood at half volum, couldnt think of anything worse ! ) I basicly removed one of the fuses then put it straight back in, Can't remeber which one though sorry I think it was just the radio one, The only thing it seem to have any side effects was the bass/treble balance on the radio. Hope that helps Nick
  8. PeteBKK, Does he export as well ?!?!?! Nick
  9. Lovly car there mate, you must be very proud! Might have to get me a bar too .... Nick
  10. Cheers guys, I'll take your word for it ! I was only worried that I never had that in my old focus. Nick
  11. mikeyg1981, It only seems to kick in like that after I hit a bump. If I slam the brakes on a smooth road it just comes to a halt. Nick
  12. ....... & then charge a fortune ! Its only 5 months old with just under 7 on the clock surley I can get this though warrenty if its becuase its been fitted incorrectly ? Nick
  13. Near enough certain Jamz, Never in 3 years had this on my first focus & doesn't feel smooth or anything like that it feels like its grating at the pads or like its metal on metal (when I use to rag the hell out of my old citroens) I guess if the dealership takes alook and sees massive groove marks then it will give an answer. Nick
  14. Cheers Minsterman, Yes it does seem to come from the front & I've only got front disks. It does feel like they jump, its when I'm braking and hit something like a drain/pothol/anything unevan. I'll see what dealer can see. Nick
  15. Hi all, Well I'm booking in my car to fords to get them to look at it but just want to make sure I'm armed to the teeth befor they do. When I heavy brake and there is a bump on the road it feels like my brakes "jump" off the pad and feels like its brakeing on the disks. Doesn't happen on a smooth road under heavy braking (I'm worried that someone runs out, I slam on the brakes and hit a drain cover & can't stop in time) My questions are : 1) Does anyone else have this issue ? 2) I got the lowered springs fitted from the dealer when I brought it on the day, could it be their fault
  16. Thats my baby too ! I 100% recommend getting it if you can. It sounds top notch quality!, voice control is handy if are in traffic/concentraing on driving/using phone. & the MP3 player on it means you don't clutter up the place with cd's ! Nick
  17. I don't know yet, I can't make my mind up. I've just scraped my front bumper so I'm thinking of getting the CC one in replacement first. How good would that sound will all the exhuasts in convoy Nick
  18. Sai, Still gives me a smile. Its got lovley pick up and throttle response now. Sounds best between 3k-4k revs (in any gear) The only thing I want is a rear bumper to house it properly. We need to go for a Piper cruze :P
  19. Lovley sound coming out of it ! Thats what I like about piper, its not just about making it loud and fast its also making it sound stylish ! Nick
  20. I always measure my position by if I can touch the face of the radio with a fully stretched arm then seat upright with hit quite high up. Nick
  21. I'll be coming down on the sunday methinks but won't be able to show or anything. Be nice to met a few peeps and put names to faces. Nick
