id like to know as well what they are like:) somebody scratched my front wing! and its eigther them, or a respray of the wing, not wanting to go down the respray route lol
-
lol true, but it could of cracked your head open or knocked you unconscious

```rear parking brake is probably just handbrake, how far does it pull up? if it pulls up a normal amount, then it could be 1 of the cables. if it was pads/shoes then i would of thought rear brakes would also been on there. front brakes imbalanced, id say start by changing pads, and if necessary disks.. guideline is 3 sets of pads per set of disks. Cant really think of any other reason for unbalanced from brakes.. if it was the master cylinder it would unbalance the back as well
not every panel is different.. roof panel is the same. Rear bumper fits.
think yourself lucky it was the car, and not your head!
not yet I havent. US? -
np:) lol i wouldnt be surprised if dagenham motors actually stock the stuff seeming they are owned by ford and have some operations on the site of the old daganham factory.
Upper Grill Finis: 1518008 Lower Grill Finis: 1529043 Bumper Extension/Splitter in primer Finis: 1518007 Theres also some adhesive sealer and tool listed.. but id imagine those are only for the bottom splitter/bumper extension
lol, but then airbags have yellow markings of some sort to indicate airbag wiring, also being solid plastic theres no way for it to deploy. Also, got airbags in the headlining, and side of the seats for rear passengers.. so it shouldnt need any there. Real mystery:S -
dont think ford fitted a subwoofer to the MK2..no room there for it anyway, behind that plastic trim your only talking about a space thats a few inches wide, and the height of the back seat. Disk changer is under the passenger seat. if anything I reckon it could be an option not fitted to UK spec, just trying to figure out what it could of been lol. -
nah, they didnt just alter the stereo. that red cluster technically despite looking like a MK2 1 is a MK2.5 cluster, because ford called it a Level 1 cluster and fitted it to the bottom of the range Focus Studio for a while before dropping it. alot of the modules and wiring you will probably find is also from the MK2.5 facelift. its known as a Stage 1 technically hence the 2.1.. they shove the kit all in the MK2 to test it all out, before coming out with the new facelift version. That was why it had the new sony headunit because the system was designed to work with the gen2 oval shaped
thats all I have 8 but if those were for extra speakers.. and only reason i say that is because of the white and grey wires.. then the problem i see is where are the speakers actually mounted?.. the wires are up the side of the seat.. and i havent actually checked to see if theres any the other side yet. but even if they was, whats the brown single spade connector for? thats the strange thing about it, anywhere else and its usually obvious.. like the 1s in the boot 1 is for the 12v power point other for the parking module, behind the drivers door side kick panel, Adaptive lighting/Xenon -
didnt know ford even done a 10 speaker sound system, although the grey and white wires would confirm that. where would the speakers be mounted though? ive only got 8 in mine, and i thought that was the maximum ford did.. got the DVD sat nav as well so its their High end 1 audio.. but that explains the white connector, but what about the brown 1? -
sounds good:) let us know how you get on!.. maybe take some pics?
-
well then it should definitely work lol
-
it wont work for MK2s, and nope, because it needs to go through ford ETIS some auto locksmiths though can clone the keys.
-
lol, you do know for ford to do it your looking at at least £150? flip key alone is about £80 roughly.
-
might of been available on the ghia and titanium models
-
should work.. somebody else may want to confirm first before you go ahead, but on a MK2.1.. its definitely more likely to work than a MK2
-
yep all interchangeable between the MK2 and MK2.5 doesnt have to be a CC version, just used that to show the bits will fit, because on the MK2 CC they had the storage compartment infront of the gearstick, which ford then introduced on all MK2.5 as "a new addition" but basically it will all fit lol. Start button wont because you just wont have any of the wiring for it..most people with MK2.5 dont even have that wiring because it was a completely different dashboard wiring loom. USB you maybe able to fit because you have a MK2.1.. but without seeing the multiplug behind the passenger kic
np, lol I love the ford interior individual pack, really nice leather/alcantara but recently looked into retrofitting it and the retail prices are a joke lol. whole pack was £1500-2000 in the factory.. but ford want 700+Vat just for the drivers back seat cover lol. np:).. hope the information helped.
MK2.1 as far as I know is the same as the MK2 on the MK2.1 all that it had from the MK2.5 was basically the electrical system, MK2.5 level 1 cluster(that was used on the studio... but ford seem to of binned that model now) new sony headunit.. wiring loom from the MK2.5 and electronic modules from the mk2.5 apart from that cosmetically it was still a MK2. But basically they are all interchangeable.. ford Never actually changed the centre console as such, the storage compartment on the MK2 was always there on the CC focus, ford just bolted it in on the MK2.5 and passed it off as new.
-
its an adhesive rubberised tape yep it comes complete and ford dealers can get them. around £25 but try hitting it hard or applying alot of pressure first.. my back 1 kept popping out, it just needed pushing back in properly
has a light in the headlining at the rear... but none eigther side of the rear seats.. there doesnt appear to be anywhere to fit lights eigther. just completely baffled what they could be for. the white connector has a white and grey wire, and the other black spade type connector is a single brown wire. they are roughly 3/4 of the way up the left hand side of the back seat.. behind the plastic trim.
