wow i never knew what that was peejay and i've seen bullit tons of time and saw that scene and thought that aint right! :shock: :lol:

i dunno if its a myth or not but people say that if you run the fuel really low you run the risk of pulling into the engine sediment and all sorts of crap that is at the bottom of the tank personally i find this hard to believe with modern fuels, diesel or petrol

the world does NOT i repeat not need another flamin baby 4x4 :lol: :lol: :lol: although new puma or cougar would be nice! :twisted:

well the saga has ended i've taken deliver of the car and handed over my old one :( :D mixed feelings on the day dont think its quite sunk in my old one has gone, but i have to say the new MK2 is a massive improvement in the old one an absolute cracker, photos can be found here: http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... 16#1734716

Hello guys thanks for the opinions i think i might indeed wait to see how much the LED rears from the MK2 facelift cost, but your opinions are valued! i dont think you can really loose either way

Hi Guys n gals when i get the new car i want to get shut of the horrible amber indicators as quich as i can from the rear and front (although i know the front lights have a small amber strip) out of these two choices the osrams and Philips ones, which would you reccomend, i like the philips as they will hide the bulb more or less but i like the osrams as they have that sort of shimmery blue effect that looks cool in some cars ive seen if you have any of these in your MK2s and could contribute pictures id be much obliged Osram: http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=102 Phili

well folks im off tomorrow morning back to yorkshire and on saturday ill be picking up the new car :D and its goodbye to the old mk1 :( so you probably wont hear from me till sunday night when i get back in scouserpool :lol: ill give you all a full report then :mrgreen:

sounds like a plan :D update checked the car when i got it and bulb holders were present with wires too, poped along to halfrauds and gots some chear 501 wedge bulbs and presto! it works its that simple folks :wink:

Well i got my insurance sorted today 7 days drive away free :D and i even got a laugh from the quote though from ford over a grand :lol:

its 20 times better than the origional, not that there is anything offensive about it, that one is just better, end of again were shafted by Europe :lol:

Forgive me if its been posted folks i have been unable to find it, this isnt to do with the submarine lighting some of the facelifted MK1s had bulb holders ready for footwell illumination alongside the normal courtsey light im wondering if the same applies to the MK2? :D
