  1. I had to glue the mat in as I found it just fell out with everything it holds. Still cant see the point of the drinks extension?
  2. Very common part to fail on all makes and models where fitted, but not at 10k !! 2 cars ago I had an 04 Vectra C 65K where this DMF failed and was going to cost £1000 just for the part!! For this reason my company took it off me and got rid of. :D AFAIK there are more and more aftermarket solid state flywheels becoming available as a cheap replacement.
  3. Hi, I've noticed some models with these rubber mats fitted to the drivers pocket.. Should all Mk2s have these or only certain specs? Also seen this drinks mat extender.. Were these only on certain specs? titanium/ST's? Or an option? I've since got myself both. The rubber mat (now permanantly glued)in the drivers pocket now makes that space useable without everything flying out every time I launch from standstill :D But not really seeing the benifit of the drinks mat extension as it makes my hot cup of McDonalds tea more unstable :? Did your model come with either?
  4. My nieghbour has a 2008 pre facelift yet my 2008 is a mk2.5. The Ford bluetooth can be retrofitted http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... c&t=182822 not cheap though :( Got any pics of the new motor then?
  5. I get the lights dimming all the time, Is this something to do with the active alternator (pulls less charge when power needed to the engine).? Recently getting the lumpy surge when pulling away or accelerating in any gear. Feels like some fuel starvation. (1.8 Diesel)
  6. My 2.5 zetec only came with one single front courtesy light, No map lights,no rear or footwell and no sunvisor lights, I've seen an identical spec 2.5 but with the added mic for the hands free kit and it came with front and rear courtesy lights and sunvisor lights. I was going to fit a rear courtesy light but instead picked up 2 Hella flexible map lights and attached one to each C post. I dropped most of the roof lining to run wire from front to rear but found you only need to drop the drivers side and follow the factory loom. Ended up fitting 2X Hella flexible map lights to C posts 2x s
