  1. Quite right chap's ! They are just two example pictures taken from a previous thread, the link of which I posted at the top of this section. Just in case you missed it, it's here again : http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66264
  2. Yep, I have used mytyres in the past and they are great on price and delivery. Saved a bundle on the tyres & paid £8.50 per tyre fitted, so worked out very cheap in the end.
  3. 'Dealer principle' is always the best chap to talk to !
  4. We live in a hilly area and never had a problem with the EPB. Not meaning to sound cocky, but it's all in the timing. When you come to set off, with clutch depressed, start to reach biting point of clutch before releasing the EPB. Once you get the knack, it's a doddle. Tried it on the steepest of hills and never rolled back. It could also have something to do with the individual set up of EPB though.
  5. Sounds like you need to bleed their nipples !
  6. Yes, they are compatible with the dim feature.
  7. I'm guessing Ebay got round to doing something about it !
  8. Where's Mastertech when you need him :?:
  9. Yep, what they call 'Copper Slip' is the best thing to apply prior to the alloy's going back on. I purshased a set of new alloy's for my last car on the cheap thinking I could fit them myself, but couldn't get the old ones off. Was frightened of knocking the car off it's light-weight jack. Ended up taking it to a local tyre fitter and couldn't bear watching them take a lump hammer to the back of the wheels in order for them to release
  10. I'll certainly keep you in mind Harpo and only really a spit down the road for delivery.
  11. To be honest, they look far better than I ever imagined. Like you said, easier to clean but maybe easier for the wife to kerb ! Unless of course I sell the wife to pay for them. ........... any takers ?
  12. Just had one of the lads in the Photoshop section do this for me. I have always loved the 18" Mondeo alloys from the Zetec 'S' and wondered what they would look like on my car. I don't think I have ever seen them on a C-Max before. Don't get me wrong, I really like the 17" 9 spokes, but now that I have seen the alternative, I am tempted to save up some pennies or even sell the child into slavery. Would appreciate you comments. My 17" 9 Spoke alloy's : Alternative 18" alloy's (Photoshopped) :
  13. I take it the boot is big enough to cope with all the bit's that fall off ?
  14. Great news Harpo ! Just hope my experience will be as rewarding. (that's when I finally get the call that the part is in)
  15. I guess I just lead a very sad life. The fact that I am an Ebay addict helps.
  16. I've never driven a Puma Dennis. What are they like ?
