  1. Reversing could be a problem ! You can always rely on us for constructive input
  2. Goldeneye, Any chance of posting a photo of your Max complete with Focus ST alloys. Would love to see how they look. When it comes to the rear lights, I'm afraid they don't do a retro-fit unit as yet, but from what I have read elsewhere on the forum, you can have your own rear lights professionally darkened. Another alternative would be to have high quality tinted self-adhesive vinyl applied to the red area of cluster. P{robably not the best option. or Like some of the young boy's racers in this area that are obviously strapped for cash, pinch your mum's (or wife's) black stockings and stretch
  3. Thanks for your trouble old bean ! Will have a look at those when ready for new rubber
  4. Glad to hear it ! I'm sure you can put up with most of us for a little longer
  5. What type of sorting out are we talking about ......... sounds interesting !
  6. Not sure that's possible ! Don't you just love his abrasive character  My clutch pedal started doing this a few weeks ago, but before I had chance to do anything about it, it went away again (the noise that is and not the pedal). Wish it was that easy for a certain somebody to disappear.
  7. Must agree with you on that one BlueMax. Thanks Tony !
  8. Not sure if there is any point in me making comments as I'm sure this thread is about to vanish. :?
  9. I think I had a friend who had that operation done on the National Health. makes my eyes water thinking about it !
  10. That's one serious fly crust. Thought you had loads of those Dragonflies down there. I used to live in the New Forest many moons ago and we always saw quite a lot of those turquoise ones. I take it they are dying out some what ?
  11. Looks great, but didn't realise you were a 'Tourette's' sufferer
  12. You can always rely on Dennis !
  13. Have you tried unthreading the car from the wiper blade ? That's how much help I am !
  14. Well said that man and hopefully we can look forward to some more stunning pictures of our C-Max's, together with interesting queries and informative responses. Wherever the hell taz parks his car, it still looks very tasty !
  15. Ken, As Mastertech has said, it's a simple fix at the dealers. Mine did this about six months ago and at the time is was mentioned to me by my local Ford dealer that this was a common fault.
  16. Like Mastertech has said, 10minutes per week seems to be the normal recommendation. At least that's what I remember from my previous Audi's. I can't see that Ford would be any different.
  17. Count me in as another who loves the colour. Nice to see something a little more distinctive. Just make sure you keep that camel cloth interior nice and clean.
  18. That's a County Ive never come across I'm afraid ! or is that a combination of Lancashire, Lanarkshire & Lincolnshire ?
  19. Jesus, it's Little Lord Fauntleroy & Co. Can't believe I'm getting agro from a couple of Southern toff's who no longer drive C-Max's. I hope a couple of those New Forest ponies peel the rubbers from your wiper blades !
  20. Ive tried Dennis, but haven't seen a set cheap enough to justify the outlay on refurbishment.
  21. I was going to go with the 18" Zetec 'S' wheels shown in the bottom photo, until I found out that they are prone to the lacquer lifting after a very short space of time. To be honest I have checked this out by paying close inspection to every wheel of this type that I have seen and every one had flaky discoloured coating. I presume that because of the greater surface area of alloy, they are more prone to knocks and stone-chips. Shame, cos even though I love my 17" machined alloy's (except when I clean them), I think the 18" ones look superb. Maybe it's just because they are a little differe
