  1. In some respects, it doesn't surprise me !
  2. Shame about the wheels on the bottom picture posted by tmaxx! They really don't do the car any favours
  3. Sorry, but don't understand how you could be out of warranty. You did state that your car was an 04 model didn't you ? Mines an 04 and still under warranty until June 2007.
  4. No problem ............. glad to assist (usually I'm no bloody help what-so-ever!)
  5. Might be wrong, but isn't there a way to reset the window system. I remember reading something on here before along the same theme. Have a look in the manual. I'm convinced that there's something in there. Let us know how you get on. Regards, Scott
  6. Is that one of the Walkers new flavours ?
  7. My God that looks nice in honour green with the machined 17's !
  8. How would you go on in the respect of insurance, should you leave enough space for someone to get their wrist into the car. Surely, if they could prove that a window was left partially open, then I'm guessing that they would not pay out should the worse happen. How easy is it to fully lever a window open that has been left with a small air gap?
  9. Simon, Who did you use for the service? Stanway's by any chance. Looking for a better alternative to Chris Allen's.
  10. "Shandy" sorry dont know what I was thinking about ............. Your beer is so weak, that you wouldn't need to add lemonade !
  11. Give it a rest you soft southern shandy drinking ponce !
  12. I stand corrected Andy ! Maybe what I should have said is that it is not likely that anyone with a 'C-Max' manages to achieve anything near to Ford's fuel figures.
  13. Steady ! ............. or are you looking for a re-enactment of the 'war of the roses' ?
  14. Sorry Peter, but that's a new one on me. Have you looked in the handbook to see which of the sparkly lights is being illuminated on the dash ?
  15. I had to take mine to the local tyre fitter and stopped looking when the sledge hammer came into view ! :(
  16. Lets be honest, there isn't a single car out there that will get the sort of fuel economy that the manufacturers spout about in their wonderful glossy brochures. No point me commenting really (that's unusual I know!) as I also drive the 2.0litre TDCi. Just to say that I no longer do any mpg calculations as I don't wish to upset myself. I just enjoy the sheer pleasure of driving the car. At times, it's an absolute joy !
  17. HP or heinz ? Dont me daft ............... Worcester !!!
  18. I'm more bothered about the squeeks and rattles than the seat belt warning chime
