  1. Yes i have mine sited on the small 1/4 light as well, and very neat it looks too :fadein:
  2. Hi Andy I've had nothing but trouble with I.F.G but have found their Farnbrough franchise OK. There's Dagenham Motors in Cobham, also very helpful. Max
  3. Sorry to say but when I ordered our 1.6 TDCi C-Max they had aCVT model in the showroom which my wife took an interest in as she is disabled. To be fair to the salesman he told us not to touch it with a barge pole as they are nothing but trouble :( That aside their customer care stinks, at the time of buying the Max we also purchased a KA, which we had trouble with. In the 1st 30 days of ownership we had the KA on our drive for less than 48 hours and they couldn't have cared less. Wondering who, their Guildford's main Ford Dealership
  4. TG... Sorry to hear about your accident but do yourself a favour mate and steer well clear of ChipsAway
  5. SS, I never managed to find out about the engine cover, I'm still waiting for Inchcape Ford to get back to me, It's only been 4 weeks  What a usless dealership I even emailed Ford direct but had no reply. Re sill plate.....I have just ordered a set of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Focus-C-Max-doors ... dZViewItem Max
  6. This guy sung his own praises like a lark on speed. Said I'd never see the repair and the paint match would be spot on, the only way this would be possible is for me to sell the car to an Eskimo so i never see it again. TG I've had the same feedback from ChipsAway head office........" Take the franchise specialist to the small claims court" was their advice. They are indorsed by the A A so I've been in touch with them, but no responce as yet.
  7. Ok guys time to name and shame had a so called ChipsAway specialist out from another franchise to look at the bodge up and he announced that "It is up to ChipsAway's Standard" now read into that what you will  Steer well clear Max
  8. OK guys your recommendations please. Any views on the Tom Tom GO 700 ? Cheers Max
  9. Whilst away last weekend a little s**t with a dog lead put 2 nice chips and minute dent in the rear panel ( Just under the light cluster ) on my 4 week old Max (Tonic) Took it to a well known national "Chip " repair specialist local to me who said "No worries mate I can repair that and you won't even no it's been touched" Well you will all have now guessed..........."BULLS**T" Got it back and the once beautiful Tonic coloured Max now has a Purple/Hue spot on it's * * * *   Took it back, got the usual, "Oh mettalics are hard to match, look at the difference shades
  10. Thank's, i took delivery on Tuesday, got it home and had a nosey around and was suprised to find it didn't have one, as you say the 2.0 does have. I have just found out to my cost about the sill's being easily damaged, i picked up my daughter from college last night and as she got in the heel of her boot caught the sill and scratched it down to the bare metal, kids eh......only done 75 miles as well :( I'll pop over to the dealership tomorrow and ask about the engine cover and now a pair of sill protectors Cheers
