  1. Yes but we are not allowed to buy anything Peugeot at the mo
  2. doh the price of a non-standard rear wiper blade....12 * * * * quid. Wish I had the old one now so I could put a halfords cheapy on it ;)
  3. Depending on the model, some Focus' do have this memory feature. The ST1 & ST2 driver side Recaro has this feature as does the passenger seat if you go for the Recaro Option Pack 1. Also both the leather Recaros on the ST3 have this feature (I think). Not sure about the Titanium 3dr or other 3dr models but judging by the above I guess not. To activate the feature you have to pull the release lever on the seat back and push the seat back (only) forward until it locks in the forward position. Best to do this without moving the base of the seat although I it may not actually matter. The se
  4. By having a look at this thread: http://forum.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68861
  5. Looks like the same size so could be down to the parts supplier for the factory where your vehicle was built? Are Focus' only built in Europe? What age is your vehicle? All new focus' seem to be coming with the new rear wiper so it should be available as an orderable part if not now then soon.
  6. Didn't think the ST wiper was specific to that car. It is just the standard wiper being fitted to all Mk2 Focus'. Can't see any reason why it would not be compatible with all mk2's built before.
  7. Germany but think this is more a design flaw than location of build. Maybe wrong though. It certainly affects both 3 and 5drs.....aswell as the c-max.
  8. errr. The cover does not include the indicators they are part of the wing mirror itself. The cover is identical for both although the ST (and C-Max) covers have pieces cut out for the indicator.
  9. Nice report Phil and results as expected. The gap that needs filling is pretty large and it's not round either. The majority of this water is falling into this gap from the rear window so I suppose a strip of clear sealant along the front of the gap would prevent this, but as you said...not sure I am brave enough to do this either. I suppose an alternative could be to manufacture a seal ourselves? If you get some baking paper (non-stick) long enough for the width of the rear door and then squeeze a line of sealant onto this and let it dry.....this may give you a perfect fitting seal? Doubt
  10. Aye and the reason yours maybe missing is that someone has probably lost theirs and decided to 'borrow' yours. These are very easy to remove. Dealers sometimes charge 0.5-1hr labour + paint which will end up around £35-£50.
  11. Is this the clear plastic tubing? If so then soaking the pipe in hot water should make fitting a little easier for anyone else wanting to try this. I doubt it will completely solve the problem....but should make it much less of one. Hopefully we will get some rain over the next day or two so you can tell us how you got on ;)
  12. I think this is always going to be the case as the rubbers have not be re-designed. I would get back to the dealers. The more of us raise this as an issue, the more serious Ford will take it......or perhaps not.
  13. Does this affect all Focus' or just ones built in a certain factory? Also is it a 5dr problem or does it affect the 3dr too? Lots of rain today but still no leak in mine. I will certainly keep an eye out for it.
  14. I will pm you my email address. If you sent me the pic I will put it on a pals server to host it.
  15. Aye, can you post the picture up here? If you want I can host it.
  16. Just checked mine and there does not seem to be any water leak. Do you know where it is entering the vehicle. Could it be getting in behind the light cluster? There is a known design issue with the tailgate holding onto water in the gap below the rear screen until it is opened at which point it dumps this water one side or the other, spilling it into the boot space?
  17. errr not sure what a Mk2 Zetec Connection is but according to the Ford docs all UK spec Zetec and Zetec Climates are fitted with a perimeter alarm. To check if you have an alarm fitted press the lock button on your remote key twice. Your indicators should flash twice indicating that the doors are dead locked and alarm is activated. Wait 1minute and then unlock and open your bonnet. If you have an alarm then it should go off. If not then you don't.
  18. When are these invoked? Is twilight invoked with side lights and night with full lights?
  19. Right I have been running my Denso Satnav system for a couple of months now and have noticed the following issues. Have anyone else noticed any/all of the following: 1) I think I have the latest map software as it has the M6 Toll road on it. The problem is that although my route preferences are set to avoid toll roads the sat nav still tries getting me on the M6 Toll. 2) On the occasional route, the voice navigation is very quiet (even though the navigation volume is correctly set). The only way to get this back is to cancel the route guidance and restart it. 3) I have the Denso Satnav w
  20. lol I wouldn't do this as you cannot be sure that water will still escape properly at the edges.
  21. The standard quadlock does have a sub out connectors although doubt if there are any wires connected also not sure if they are RCA THe connections are on part C of the quadlock. Pin4 = SubW+ and Pin10 = SubW-
  22. No the standard perimeter alarm is not category 1 thatcham certified. It still is a fairly good system though.
