  1. Most Fords now go through rear pads before front, i know most Mondeos do. If you repalce them yourself, and have the EPD, dont forget to remove the big fuse otherwise you EPD will go mental!
  2. Hi, 1. Im not certain, but in my dealer, we've never replaced a clutch on any type of auto 2. 1.6's do get affected by the EGR fault, but not anywhere near as often as 2.0s 3. My dealers brilliant! No, honestly they are, because theres so much competition! 4. Different people recommend different things. Im not sure there is a schedualled (sp) maintenance period for the fluid, its just personal choice 5. We charge a price quoted off 'Smile' which all Ford Dealers should use, so 1st is £160, 2nd is £160, 3rd is £200. Can haggle though, as dealers will reduce to secure business 6. All cars have
  3. Hi guys Sorry late in replying! Well its good and bad news! Good news is ive still got it, bad news is a left a weight on when taking the tyre off, so its got a light mark around the inside of the edge if you get me, where the weight has spun! :x (Sales changed the wheel to a space saver, which is how a aquired it) Postage is £12 to anywhere, so any offers? Ill get a pic tomorrow if anyone is interested.
  4. As ive got one! Just thought id check to see if anyone wanted one to replace a curbed or damamged one, or to put in as a full size spare. Its mint, no marks
  5. Had two in with different problems. One, the pipe on the bottom of the PAS fluid bottle, leading to the rack, hd split Two, the PAS pump gave up
  6. We dont change them under warranty, over a yr old. Its classed as trim, 1 yr warranty on trim.
  7. Honestly, im not. I know what people will think, young lad in a 'hot hatch' (shuttit!!) must be driving badly, but i dont! I also dont wear a baseball hat, nor a hoody! Gawd knows, i just be polite and generally have a joke with them, apart from one that stopped me, so i took off my seatbelt, and he walked upto the car and tried to fine me for no seatbelt!
  8. I used to have the illegal font plates. I got stopped 3 times, not for the plates, just spot checks, and each time they told me to change them but i never did. Im not bragging about it or anything, just never got round to it! I dont have them anymore, they were like this tho: Also, PICHACKER What is with the Police spot checking me all the time?! Ok, when i had the plates, it gave them a reason, but im being pulled 2 or 3 times a month with a totally legal car! No foglights, loud music, eratic driving or anything! My friends mum is a rd safety officer, and in West Yorkshire a coup
  9. In all honesty, im not too sure exactly what this recall fixes. The problems people seem to be experiencing with poor battery performance, and your problem CFC make me think that it is a fix for these
  10. Smoggy - To program the windows in, hold the swith fully up for about 5 seconds, and then do it again for 5 seconds. Thats that fixed! The trims on the door will need replacing, the plastic fixings on the back are plastic soldered on, so break.
  11. It loads up the lastest settings, which incorperated in it, has the correct setting for the voltage point
  12. Mk1/2 Focus steering wheels used to melt, due to customers putting aftershave on, then not washing their hands! Honestly! 2002 - MY Fiestas have steering wheel leather problems, where the top layer peels away. Id be suprised if they replace it under warranty you know. Its classed as trim, and they'll probably try the abuse line too!
