My computer was reading 34 mpg at an average speed of 25 mph, driving steady, not accelerating too hard.I would say that this was similar to the combined cycle as I do a mix of Motorway and urban driving.

How's your fuel economy?coz if it's poor you have a legitimate reason for your dealer to investigate the EGR as per Mastertech's post.You cannot trust your trip computer for mpg, you'll need to reset counters and fill up tank, then after a week or so refill tank and check how much fuel you've used and how many miles you have done on that fuel, you may need to show your petrol receipts and a note of your mileage readings between the receipts.

I had the disc 42 update done 2 weeks ago, and it has been fine since, fingers crossed. my car is a 2.0tdci c-max zetec.Since the update the car is a lot smoother, pulls better and is more economical.

On the price list at my local Rapid fit it states that the service is £120 and a brake fluid change is £35.I don't know whether this includes VAT

Just got my car back from dealers after last EGR fault.they used disc 42 on it and reset the EGR ,noticeable difference in acceleration, now a lot smoother,mpg figure on computer has gone up by 10mpg at the same ave speed.Car seems fine, fingers crossed.They also said that they sorted the self resetting clock on the radio 0X

How much are the pads for the front.Our local Rapid fit is charging £85 for the front pads,fitted on a C-Max

Hello mate, Apparently there is a new disc ,42, which is starting to arrive at the dealers now.

Ive got a 2.0TDCI Zetec and the level of kit and comfort is spot on, especially the rear seat arrangements.The 2.0 diesel packs plenty of wallop but the fuel economy on mine aint great.Overall tho I would definiteley recommend it. :lol:

Very nice looking interior.If I had this then my kids would be walking everywhere.I had the black leather interior on my last focus and they even managed to make this look shabby.

Ive got the grey iterior and it's still like Steptoe's yard.The camel interior is deffo a non starter for me, it looks sound but like you say it's no good if you've got kids.

Looking at his previous items sold, it seems a bit of a leap from selling Disney plates and mobile phones, to exporting used cars across Europe. I wouldn't even buy something for a tenner off ebay if the item had a bid history like this car has.

I always use shell diesel, but only coz the garage is at the bottom of our street.I've also had grief with the EGR on my car.
