RWD? No chance. It's going to need more than 220bhp to top the ST. More than 220 needs AWD as far as I am concerned. If it ever gets built.

The official press release is already out - 2.5 5 Cyl Turbo, 220bhp.

This is an extremely impressive achievement by Ford. The car achieved a 100% rating for both frontal and side impact - the first ever car to do so. For passengers this makes the Focus the safest car on the market.

The C-max is twice the car the Scenic is! :D The C-Max interior is brilliant, superb stereo and drives like a hot hatch! Need I say more. ;)

Looks quite similar to the Mondeo one... but when you actually try it the C-Max wheel feels much higher quality. 8)

Yeah, I guess. But what about the handling and driving experience? You'll really be suffering in the Touran. :(

The Touran lost pretty much all round against the C-Max in the magazine comparison reports. Sure, the press don't know everything, but it's gotta say something!

Very interesting. I've test driven a couple of C-Max's and the build quality was always something that impressed me most!! However, with any new car there are going to be problems to start with - maybe Ford will deal with these issues as time goes by? They certainly did with the Mondeo.

Welcome C-Max owners! Incidentally, I've been very impressed with the new C-Max - this is obviously good, because a lot of the C-Max will be appearing on the new Focus. Should be good.

I'd go for what you originally ordered... you might regret it otherwise.

I've been driving a Mondeo TDCi and the story is much the same - boot it everywhere and it drops to around 33 - 34, but on a long motorway journey I managed 50mpg, which I was impressed with.
