  1. They look pretty good, fortunately my Zetec Climate came with one built in.
  2. My TomTom One goes on the bottom right hand side of the windscreen, its fits no problem using the standard bracket.
  3. I've fitted on tpo the 1.6 version, ring k & N and they'll tell you exactly which one to get. Replacement Air Filter only from K&N Filters is 33-2874 and retails £32-24 + VAT. http://knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=33-2874 Contact number is 01925 636950
  4. Sounds good to me, got the same model in March, an 05 plate with 14k on the clock for £9995. :D
  5. I bought a 1 year old Mk2 1.6TDCi (109bhp) 5 door Zetec Climate with 15k on the clock, paid £9995 if that helps, changed from a 04 1.8TDCi (115bhp) LX and have never looked back. Private Dealer for me.
  6. Nice motor, shame the steering wheel is on the wrong side :D Looks really nice in black. Enjoy.
  7. Can't say I've any vision issues in my 5-door. :)
  8. Nice looking motor, hope you have lots of fun
  9. Have same problem as Dreamweaver i.e. it does not come back to the volume I last left it. Mine is fixed at 5 by default on switch-on. Unfortunately the TA indication you mentioned did not work in my case Tony - still thanks for the suggestion. Holding down the TA button does bring up the TA volume indicated as +5 but the navigation buttons go dead at that stage. Would also be interested in a solution to this if anyone can guide us further. I have just changed my TA announcement volume, I pressed the TA button until the volume came up, adjusted it with the centre dial, pressed the TA butt
  10. This is actually true, you must save your settings to the key otherwise it reverts back to it's initial seeting every time you get in the car. I had to set it with both my keys in case I picked up the wrong one. There definately is a difference with SPORT mode.
  11. My 12 month old Focus is the same, only the locking nuts are rusy on the outer face. Strange. :?:
  12. Thanks for the advice guys, i got the rid of the warning after opening and closing the bonnet again, will keep an eye on it and contact Ford if it happens again.
  13. March 05 1.6TDCi 5dr Zetec Climate. I filled my wash/wipe bottle this morning, set off to work and the Bonnet Open light was on and the warning from the computer, stopped and reopened and closed the bonnet from a height of approx 8 inches. The bonnet closed properly, I still have the red warning light illuminated and the Bonnet Open warning from the computer. Tried again and still got the warning. Has anyone else had this problem from a fully closed bonnet. It is is still the same when I get home, I'll ring Ford.
  14. Yup, Got 550 out of my first tank before I was going on a long trip, had 1300 out of 2 1/4 tanks of fuel now. :D Could do with the price of fuel goiung down anyway £1 a litre is madness!!!
  15. Mine's a March 05 Zetec Climate, no engine cover in mine. :?
  16. I have just bought my March 05 1.6TDCi Zetec Climate in Jeans Blue for £9995 if that is of any help to you. Granted it may not have the toys you are after.
  17. Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. :D
  18. ADVICE PLEASE. I have read in the manual about when you are outside the car, if you press the unlock button on the remote for longer than 3 seconds it automatically winds the windows down, I have an 05 1.6 TDCi Zetec Climate, is this true, if so mine doesn't, if not which models do?? :? Thanks.
  19. My March 05 1.6 TDCi (109bhp) Zetec Climate has the grey holders, not sure about the wiring, guess I'll be off to halfords tomorrow for some bulbs, it's worth a couple of quid to find out!!!! :) Bingo!! Courtesy lights. :D :D
  20. I've just bought a 1.6TDCi (109BHP) 05 plate with 12k on the clock, I changed to this from the old 1.8TDCi (115BHP) 04 plate with 20k on the clock. I have noticed a big difference to fuel consumption and very little difference in performance. It doesn't have as much torque as the 1.8 but performance wise it is almost the same. :) I averaged 40mpg in the 1.8, I now get at least 50mpg in the new 1.6. I do similar driving to yourself, sorry I've no experience with the new 1.8TDCi, there don't appear to be many around second hand.
