Please note ALL doors and boot unlock - not just drivers door and boot. Not if you program your key so that one push unlocks drivers door, fuel cap and boot, two pushes locks/unlocks everything. programed mine as soon as I got the car. one push opens drivers door AND boot and fuel filler flap

I often open (so I thought) the drivers door only, when I am on my own, didn`t realise the boot opened too. Must check it tomorrow.. :evil: :twisted:

The Sony units have the aux socket.

It`s the place where the aux connection will be if specified in the trim level. I have the hole but not the aux socket.

My MK2 Ghia has global opening/closing, just hold the keyfob button down when opening/lockong

I may be wrong, but I believe the two pushes is for cars with deadlocking.

On my Mk2 Ghia there are three buttons on the remote, if the bottom one is pushed twice only the boot opens, not any of the doors.
