Cheers for your help mate. I'm looking for at least £400/450 for it mate. I paid over £500 for it and it is brand new! Only been taken out the box once! It's a quality piece of kit but it's way beyond me to fit it! It will look great though! What model Focus have you got mate?

No mate i haven't installed it. I want to sell it now because it's too much work for me to try and have done. I just want a normal CD player fitted now which is so much easier! :lol: I've heard different things tho...that a new HU will make a difference and that it won't. Bit confused now! :?

Do you guys know what kind of difference a new HU with standard speakers will make if any?? I'm selling my DVD unit by the way if anyone is interested. Paid over £500 for it so sensible offers please! :lol:

Is that a Richbrook anti-theft aerial? I've bought one of those already. A silver one.

Hmm...im not sure about this. Doesn't look as though it does anything more than the normal trip computer! How does it 'diagnose' expensive problems before they occur? I don't think i'll be purchasing one! :?

Well...just to give you an update...i've still got my standard stereo in! My Alpine still isn't installed yet. Hoping a mate of mine can give me a hand with it sometime...just don't know when! Beginning to think i should have just bought a standard HU...i'd have it fitted by now! :?

It's really faint...i can only hear it with the drivers window down and listening really carefully! It only happens on acceleration. Not sure what it is! :?

I was just wondering...if anyone had noticed their Foci making a quiet whistling type sound?? Mine does it in 5th gear just cruising. The only way i can describe the sound is like when your fan belt is going...but obviously nowhere near as loud! Craig.

Both of my seats slide...but it's really annoying that they lock into place and you have to lift the lever to move it back again! Surely your drivers seat slides forward? How to you get comfy to drive the thing? Lol! :lol:

Ah right ok. Now i know where you're talkin about. So when does it come on? Can't say i've noticed it come on in mine!

I've gotta say...i've never noticed this in my 2006 1.8 Zetec Climate. Where is this located on the dash? Does it come on instantly? :?

Autoglass replaced my passenger window in my Clio with no problems afterwards if that helps? :lol:

Yeah my 1.8 Zetec Climate is the same. 1 push of the drivers side window button brings it down all the way automatically...but it doesn't do it going up. The passenger one doesn't do it at all! I think it's just the way they are made. I'm sure that it could be changed but no idea how! :?

I thought that the seperate amp could have just been to enhance the sound or maybe for the Dolby surround sound the unit has? I dunno. I think i'll hook it up and see what happens and hope your wrong! lol! Cheers mate. Craig.
