Hi M8 Well as we are blessed with the fuel warning light coming on far too often (and now the dealers have the fix CD for this) I can say that the Sat Nav does sod all when the fuel warning light comes on. Shame as that would be a good idea. 40 mpg - is dammed good. Ours has dropped tom, wait for it!!! 27mpg as we have not touched a motorway at all in the last tank full and have been popping around town and the like. I would never pay the extra for a derv again. You will not beleive this In my oyther thread, which I will update, you will see the problems I have had with the install of my Nokia phone kit for use in my C-Max. The problem appears that as we have a six-speed box Ford cannot mount a phone cradle where it should go as it will be knocked off! So they mount it to the side which means it bangs into the passengers leg ALL THE TIME! :( For 4 months FCRC and engineers in Germany have been trying to fix it. They thought they could attach the phone cradle directly to the console box that is fitted as part of the phone install. They now te

All Was told that a new Sat Nav disc for the C-Max's Denso's unit will be out "within a month" at a cost of , wait for it £180!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so over the top it makes me hopping made. We paid an absolute fortune for this system and they new bloody discs shold come free. If anyone gets one, let me know if there is much difference from the current AB version. Cheers Craig

I totally agree, althought he car is only driven by my Mrs, I often grab my keys to get something fromt eh boot or to move ti adn the sodding alam goes off. drives me mad. I was told it was about 80 quid for a folding alarm fob key. I did ssee the remote fob (no key) aon ebay recently though so maybe you can get em on the cheap. Best C

So they had the 1.6 TDCI CMax Zetec on, now I did look at the VW and dismissed it as ugly but I never looked att he Scenic. I am happy with my car and like the bigger boot, higher driving position, additional features oover the normal focus so unlike the Top Gear Gang, I can see the point. But thems is their views ... C

spose I never think of it as we always ahevthe sat nav unit on for the radio at elast or the cd or something, but when you look at it like you say its the daftest it of design ever! Good old Fords eh? C

This has been discussed on the galaxy woners forum - that car ahs the same thing. The UK CMAX's do not have the aux heater - it is for colder countries. Sorry about that :) C

Justice mate OK - heres what happens. When turn on car 0 clcok sows in MFD then goes out when we pull away. With Sat Nav unit off both clock and Ford logo GO from MFD meaning no clock at all - with it the unit on then Ford logo staysd (uinless we are runnign a route) but no clock in MFD. Hope tat helps mate C

I have suffered the wait with you my friend :) Now, VERY BIOG WORD OF ADVICE!!! You have the six spped box and sat anv and phone kit etc - all same as mine. Just take a look at the phone kit install thread I started adn look at the way the kit was inmstalled. DO not want to put any dapers on your day but the reason the dealer said it put the car kit holder tot he side was because of the six speed box. When it goes into reverse it would have knocked the phoen out of the holder! PRoblem is with where they have put it it knocks into passengers leg and therefore stupid. Dealer and MD's O

Hi Justice et all Well my mfd is fine. Ford logo stays on, the arrows stay on and the clock seems ok. Still waiting for comfirmation of the fuel fix but as soon as I have that I will get back to you all. BTW 23 mog is pants - I thought my 34 was bad! C

Hi Justice :) Like the nick :lol: As a lawyer, I have made Fords well aware of the things they HAVE To do and they have been pretty good. Apart from the silly isntall of the car phone kit I cannot complain to omuch. I too had a complete hassle on te DVD front. Mine had teh 2002 disc (part ending AA) and it took a few conversations with Denso and Ford to get the correct one, but they had to class teh car as a "mis build" which was a joke. THe discs cost 180GBP and a new one is out in September and I better get a free one from FMC or I will moan even more :) To cange the time, you need

I know that the fuel gague issue is RESOLVED! well at elast Ford know that the poblem is either software or a sensor and all dealers are being advised of teh fix as we speak, so get backl to your dealers adn get them to fix at least that problem. Did you check you had the lastest version of the DVD sat Nav disc? Shoudl haev a Ford part number ending AB - if its AA then you have given you an old one C
