I cancelled the sports suspension extra on my newly ordered titanium 2.0 TDCI because the dealer or Ford technical couldn't tell me if it was just lowered or lowered and stffened (I just wanted it lowered) and fitted the eibach spring kit myself. It has 17's, adjustable steering and ESP. Really pleased with the handling. :D I use the sports setting and my wife uses the comfort setting and I believe that the settings are programmed to our individual keys so are automatically selected according to the driver.

Yes, on mine the second locking press double locks the doors and closes all windows and sunroof. Second unlocking press unlocks all doors, undoes all windows and opens the sunroof - should be real handy on a hot day when returning to the car. If we ever get any hot days! :lol:

I wish I'd have stuck to my original choice of Sea Grey - I changed it at the last minute for Panther Black and it needs a wipe over almost everytime I go out in it!

That sounds pretty good, but about right! Whats you average MPG? :wink: Not quite sure how to use that thing - sometimes it shows 99.9 MPG and that cant be true. I have only got just over 600 miles on the clock in total though and I am driving it extremely careful, with a very light throttle as I am still running it in. Also, how accurate is the computer prediction of miles left in the tank? I will wait untill I fill it up next and work out an accurate MPG based on the amount of miles covered and fuel used to fill it right back up.

I've got a 2.0 TDCI titanium 2007 model. Have already done 319 miles and the computer says I've still got enough fuel for another 212. We'll see!

I've noticed a yellowy orange light coming from either side of the interior light too. :?:

From any Ford dealer!! They didn't do Tango Red from Ghia model upwards - they were 'last years colour'. I went to order one in Sea Grey instead and the computer said no! (at the dealers when he was taking my order) as they had dropped the 3 door model from Ghia & Titanium range. I then tried to order the 18" wheels and they too had been discontinued! I ended up getting a 5 door Titanium X pack with 17" wheels in Panther Black.

:( I wanted a Tango Red Titanium 3 door with 18" Anthracite wheels - None of those options are availible.

Mine's a 2.0 TDCI and the wheels are 17's - they come as standard with the X pack. I've also fitted the 30mm lowered Eibach springs now and it sits a lot better - in a bad light it looked like a 4X4!

Not wanting theives to see the tell-tale sucker mark on the screen or the supplied dash-top self adhesive disc (supplied) with my Garmin, I have fitted the disc underneath (facing down) the dash top storage compartment lid. This works fine. However, I don't like the trailing power lead from the existing 12v socket and want to fit a permanent 12v DC outlet inside the storage bin. I intend to take the feed from the rear of the existing 12v socket and feed it up to the additional one. Does anyone know how you remove the dash top storage compartment - it looks like it is in one piece with the dash

I've just got my new Titanium X pack with the modded mirrors. In place of the wing mounted repeater lamp there is a badge (similar to the one above) that has raised letters and 'TITANIUM' on it (it's also not as shiny as that one). If I knew how to post pictures I'd put it up!

Where is yours mounted? I'm thinking of trying to mount mine (Garmin 360) in the dash top storage compartment on my Titanium. Anyone done that yet? Pictures?

Can I do that to my titanium? I had this feature on my Mondeo and thought it was a good idea for when there was just one person in the car. Can you set it so that one push of the remote unlocks the drivers door but 2 pushes opens all the others?
