  1. Front two need changing but i cant find them brand new for nothing They're 205/55/16 and have to be this tread pattern cos theres a lot of different ones. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic.js ... ot+Primacy Any help would be appreciated
  2. The spacers are probably the adaptors their talking about, looks good though, u got a pic of ur focus without the kit on and just the wheels? and are they xenon lights uve got, the non ST ones?
  3. I've been looking for a set like this for a very long time now, finally found them but they're for a mondeo rather than a focus. I've looked at the alloy wheel sticky on here and it says a max of upto 52, the ET on the ebay page says 52.5. However ive seen on Allen Ford or fordpartsuk (cant remember which) that if you were to buy these you need some sort of adaptors. So just wondering if anyone could shed some more light? I'd also like to know what differences I may feel, or problems that may occur with having an ET of 52. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-18-alloy-whe ... 1|294%3A50
  4. Mk1s easier to park though, and u can see around alot better, especially the rear view IMO. But i dont think i could ever go back to a Mk1 having got used to all the new features of the mk2
  5. Depending on whether ur replacing the speaker cables or not i'd disagree. Using the standard speaker cables, i split the wiring loom behind the stereo and ran my wiring from the amp to the split wires and powered it that way, its not the best way but its probably the easiest. I would also advise not cutting the OEM wiring loom, cut the adaptors you get, and make sure your cutting the right ones, i think the fronts are white, white/black and grey grey/black
  6. Does anyone know if you can put normal HID kits into OEM ford xenon lights, ive seen loads of St lights on ebay that are missin the ballasts/bulbs n so on, anyone know?
  7. theres the 1.6 ti-vct, 115ps, usually comes in the zetec climate model. I think its the only one in the range with variable cam timing. If you can stretch, pick up a titanium 1.8 or 2.0, the amount of extras you get with that are really worth it. Just found a nice one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1054895.htm
  8. My radio turns off straight away but the mileage display stays on for ages sometimes, theres been times ive left the car, come back and its still on.
  9. im pretty sure the standard air intake system on fords is fully heat sealed already cos the only place air is being taken in is from the snorkel at the front. Replacing the original filter with a K&N would just allow for better air flow, the more you have in the air/fuel ratio, the more power you get. So to answer your question it would be worthwhile and there shouldnt be no hot air problems
  10. I live in london where potholes are just everywhere no matter where u go, and every side road has speed bumps
  11. Ain't sure how ur planning to wire the auxillary in but.. http://www.allenparts.com/cgi-bin/ford/ ... &NOLOGIN=1 That's what you would get if u got the auxillary option, its a simple retro fit. You pull off the front fascia, unbolt the 4 torx screws holding the stereo in, remove the stereo, unclip but don't remove the wiring loom, plug the aux cable in, re-clip the loom, and ur done! Fitted mine in about 30 mins, which included drilling a hole thru the glovebox for it to plug into it. EDIT: This is provided you have the CD6000, with the aux button on there.
  12. How do they feel compared to standard? There designed to work with standard ford shocks right? Handle better?
