On the Zetec, the wiring and bulb holders are already in place, all you need to do is nip down to your local motorist shop and buy some side light bulbs. It's a doddle, but looks cool. What model Focus have you got?? :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I've already got dark style headlights - Gotta admit tho, the images Kev posted above look the biz. I like the way the front bumper trim is colour coded but not the fog light surround - very neat. Is it easy to do?? Incidentally, I've just fitted a sunglasses holder found on ebay from a Mondeo - fits perfect and only cost £7. Any more cool ideas?????? - Keep posting them... :wink:

Hiya mate - the revised mirrors look ace, but the chrome side replacements look tackier than a day trip to the UHU factory! I thought it was a Ford Focus soap dish - keep the original ones! :lol: :lol:

You could try mounting an 'L' shaped bracket between the air vent and dash as shown. If you remove the glovebox and reach behind the dash, the air vents slide out. Alternatively, remove the radio and slide the air vents out. They've given you a Fiesta? - that's a bit too girly under the circumstances. Shut the car doors, then press the lock and unlock buttons together for a few seconds until the hazard lights flash. That should re-program the central locking. To re-set it back is the same preocedure. :wink:

:sofa Ooops! not good - sorry to hear that matey! I'd be tempted to drive a snow plough thru their front doors, and make then chew grit for a few months. So how long will it take to repair now? And can you ask them nicely for a replacement Focus ST with a full tank of Nitros as a gesture of goodwill? lol

Can anyone suggest any simple 'tricks-of-the-trade' ways of tinkering with the standard spec on my 2005 Ti-VCT Zetec? For example, is my car pre-wired to accept any additional buttons/switches that are in use on the Ghia or Titanium models etc? I've already done the footwell lighting, checked that I have the heated washer jets connected, tried the diagnostic feature on the trip computer, and reset the remote central locking to drivers door only. Make my day and tell me that there's something I can do to improve the spec... Thanks! :wink:

Hiya mate Sounds like you might have machine silver, which is a slightly darker shade of silver (a bit more like a grey/silver than bright silver)? The photo's I submitted last week of mine are in machine silver if that helps?? Cheers!

If it's anything like the annoying rattle on my passenger door, it comes from behind the door handle area. According to my local 'not-so-helpful' dealer, they won't cover it under warrnaty as my car is 14 months old (apparantly it's classed as wear and tear!!!), even though they admitted it's a common porblem on the new shape Focus. They told me to buy a new set of clips then remove and refit the door trim myself! Cheers Ford for your help! Try pushing the door handle as you're driving, and if it stops rattling, it's probably the same problem. Good luck (and buy an Astra next time - :lol
