  1. It is another safety device installed for child seat safety. Now there is a litlen on the scene, i thought it a good idea. GOT some ics, sortin em now.
  2. I forgot to add that to the list. I was thinking about that. Cheers dude.
  3. Its another safety device for the instalation of child seats mate.
  4. Done today. I have Recaro rear bench in my car and the ISOFIX fits perfect.
  5. Jams, you may get a set on the bay if you're lucky. I will have to put the pics on tomorrow as the batteries are finally charged but it's dark out. For now i'll leave you with this one a few months back.
  6. Unlucky Jamz, they may be ok, depends on what you actually did do. Yes it would be nice to know what everything is, but i think Ford don't like us tinkering. Probably why there is no haynes manuals, unless you can speak german as there is two available over there. ScottyGhia, Yes, it is a DIY job, but the new facelifted and some newest models have RED LIT everything now. It;s much nicer than the green. Wish i could say the same about the new Sony stereo. The square one looks better, especially with the sony sign lit up. Newcott, Yes fella, going to do it, the camera batteries are on charge
  7. You have no idea JAMZ, i have painstakingly cheaked and re cheaked and tried this that and the other. It is plain and simple... 12 volts into that for illumination and so far so good. 12 volts into any other part of it and it's buggered. There is no way to get the volts low enough. I think i woulda tried to have the temp and pressure guages hooked up to the temperature sensor on the speedo, or am thinking of putting another ST temp and fuel guage - (cut from another speedo unit) into the pod instead of the current ones. As for the turbo, it is possible to drill it and stick a sensor on it. But
  8. Hello FFOC members, i thought i would leave an up to date version of my car and what i have done to it. It is a 2006 Ford Focus (obviously) Hatchback 5DR Titanium with a 1.8 TDCI Warp Drive. It is Aquarious Blue (fully colour coded) and i bought it for about 10K. Well lets start then. The first mod and the best of them all was to add my private plate, passed down from car to car. It was first on a 3dr 1.6 MK1 2001 Zetec in Ampiro Blue. Then it was transfered to another MK1 5dr (this time) 2001 Zetec also in Ampiro Blue. It then went onto a MK2 Jeans Blue Zetec and now onto the current car
  9. Couldn't say. I had a long look but didn't see anything. Shame as i have the sensors in now filling the holes in the bumper.
  10. Ronaldo, Not sure i followed that correctly. I emptyed my boot, took the carpet out and pulled the driver side wall trim and shelf out. Saw wireing for the drivers side light unit and curtain airbag above. Below was the fog reverse loom and an auxiliary power socket connector. On the Passenger side, i just had a grommet in the floor pannel, and above in the same place as oposite, was the light and curtain airbag loom. Would you be able to get a snap of what you found so i can have another look. Thanks Ronaldo,
  11. I was lucky, the brackets were already on my bumpers and all i did was fit them. Same with the front wing plasticy spacers for the screws. Glad as well after having to damage one of them to get the old one off. I was all to tough to unscrew and was just twisting. If i were to do the front again though, i would take the wheels off and the wheel arches as i really scratched the scrap out of my hands to say nothing about the sore skin on the inner hand by the fingers after gripping the scredriver.
  12. Being that i have had my seats out, i know how to remove them. Obviously you need to undo the bolts holding them in, but on each end of the seats, there is a locking mechanism holding them in on a spring. If you get a fairly strong screwdriver, the metal thing you can see or fee actually rotates as apose to be pused in or pulled out. When this LATCH if you will is opened or rotated, the seats pop out unless they are snugny fitted to which a little tug won't hurt. I'll have a look on ebay, i have been lucky before. All the best dudes.
  13. Gonna take a look for this now i have the sensors in just to cover the holes on the bumper. Seems a good idea now the loom might be there. Will it hit me in the face or will i have to have a good long look for it. I'l definately have the boot all out to look just in case i need space. BTW Will, it already be hooked up to the reverse light and power etc.?
  14. Sorry, its off you're convo Ronaldo, BUT i wanted to ask you about you're headlights. I want to get a set but don't know if it would be a downgrade to the standard ford Xenons i have already got. Could you tell me what they actually are because thus far on various sites, they give a slight description but no information. Cheers dude and good luck with that bumper. You car's looking badass.. Keep it up.
  15. The VW's out there look like they will fit, but i don't know if i am brave enough to try it. As you've said, its about the arm as blades are always about for any make and model car.
  16. Perfect timing fella. I also would like this although have not got the bracket yet. How much was it and where did you get it from? Tezza may be able to help you. Ford must have a install paper on that as it is a safety option and would have to be done correctly.
  17. some of us who got the piper one had a nice perfect fit on the O/S But on the N/S, not the same story I think they sell an excellent stainless exhaust with a few tail options and for what i would say is a very gode price including fast shipping. They even fit for you if you book it up. But i think they have a problem with the jig that they use or they take it off too quickly before its set. I have tried everything to try and bend it back but it's solid.
  18. Why don't you do sopme two tone. Imperial/Performance Blue VS Tonic. All you have to do is the Bumpers, Skirts and Wheel Arches. I bet you'd be the first to do it.
  19. YEP. CONFIRMED... I HAVE THE WRONG RELAY. IT DEFFINATELY HAS 6 PINS. ALSO NO LUCK WITH THE REST OF IT AND HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO DO POD. PLEASE BEAR WITH ME. i WILL GET BOTH DONE.
  20. 5 Pins is correct. 1 should be a red cable going to pin 6 on the Driver mirror and 7 on passenger mirror. 2 should be a yallow cable going to the control switch or button. 3 should be a blue cable going to pin 7 on the drivers mirror and pin 6 on the passenger mirror. 4 is a cable to the 10 amp fuse, wherever you are putting it. 5 should be black for earth.
  21. So have i and i am having no joy. I think that ford have set the focus up very different to the rest of the range. Either that or we have the wrong relay. Mine has six pins, but the diagram oon the Fezza has 5. Plus there is no where to connect it to the fusebox as the pins are differently shapped. The might be a wa y of setting it up without the relay, but i have to look into it. I am off tomorrow but hold you're breath because i also have a solution to the pod guages.
  22. The bloody wireing didn't work out. Im sorry guys, i have let you down this time but will be working on another way to do it as soon as i can. I've been toyong with the ST pod and i think i can get it to look like it works.
  23. Use a bit of petrol/diesel or even lighter fluid on a dry cloth. That WILL get rid of any crap that has got stuck on it and bring the black up nice. Works on Rubber too.
  24. Yes they are. Only the rear part is different mate.
