  1. maybe a how too would be a good idea as i have noticed that my skirts have the clips but no holes on the car. Who's gonna do it?
  2. I will scan my document for you and send it to you or post it up on the ffoc. It's up to you. I will need an email or if you want the latter, i will do it a little later as i have to pop my aunt to the airport within the next half hour. It will probably be on here about 11ish. As for the fuse box, yes there is a lot of wires, but it can be moved and if you use a torch under the dash you might be able to see that all the pins are numbered from 1-a million but when you look you will see what i mean. Use the list above or from the document with regards to wire colours and pin numbers.
  3. Yes the fuse box under the glovy... Sorry for the late reply. I don't know why it isn't working. This info was given to me in the form of a wireing diagram from Ford. The unit itself was working too. Have you connected the wires to the right pins, (Not being funny fella). Are the colours as i said? What have you connected up. It might need something else to complete the seperate light circuit. Maybe a earth or something. Be carefull with the junction box. You may blow a fuse. It happened to me. Then it was ok.
  4. Sorry mate. I have a habbit of calling peeple silly friendly names. I have always been that way.
  5. cheers Jammie Dodger. N-E One Else have any idea????
  6. WELL DONE! This is top FFOC stuff and i recomend it be sent to the HOW TOO section immediately. Praise to you M-G.
  7. A matey of mines has lent his 1.6 Zetec Climate MK2 to his missus. As she was filling up with fuel, the car auto locked and she didn't realise. Because she didn't know she forced the (locked open) cap shut causing the arm to snap off at the hinge. Ford wanted £80 for the part and another £100 to fit but we managed to get a new one from a breakers for £20. The question is... How do we fit it? As i understand it, we have to get the wheel out and take the wheel arch out too. But thats all i know. If anyone can help, i would be most appreciated. Cheers peeps. Dave.
  8. Not at the mo. I will have to wait until my batteries for my camera are charged. Plus i would have to remember. I'll try my best.
  9. Jamz - - - - Pin 7 Orange Wire is illumination. You can put it to Pin 9 on the headlight switch. This is also Orange. Pod Wires: Pin1= Orange - Central Junction Box Pin7 Pin2= Gray/Red - Central Junction Box Pin40 Pin3= Black/Orange - Ground 7 Pin4= Yellow/Blue - Central Junction Box Pin3 Pin5= Blue/Red - Instrument Cluster Pin17 Pin6= Gray/Red - Instrument Cluster Pin18 This information was off a wireing diagram i got from my dealer. However i tried it in my Zetec climate (previous car) the dials seemed to
  10. Well as i have said in the past, It's not easy and it is a work in progress. I will do a how to if i pull it off but, i am not sure at this rate as some of the wires just dissapear into the loom. With my little knowledge, i shall keep trying and will get it.
  11. Thanks dude's i suppose you are rite. Every Little Helps!
  12. If you look in the windows on the second pic, you can make out my ST pod gauges. They are sorta working now. A few more tweeks and i'm sure i can get em right.
  13. As you can see, she is an Aquarious Titanium 5Dr. 2.0 TDCI with ST alloys. She will very shortly have the bodykit. I am well anoyed as the dude respraying everything has taken to date: who knows lets just say august 2007. For anyone who don't get it, thats a long time to wait for a paint job, especially when the dude cry's that he needs money. i have had it ready (£300) since august. That covers the Mirrors, Bumper's Spoiler and side skirts. Not a bad price. She currently has just had the roof lining changed to black and i am awaiting a sunglasses holder or handle. Stig stands proud look
  14. It will or should have a code next to each line(wire) If it is an orange and black wire it will be O/B or very similar. Yello and green Y/G Comprendea! Compodrea?
  15. What sort of freshen up. Not being funny, this is the first i have heard of it.
  16. Its Horrible, what can i do. Don't seem to good for a MK2 Titanium and i still have until 09 for warranty. should i let them take my car off me and take thier sweet paid every minute time.
  17. GET EM ON EBAY FOR 3 QUID AND THEIR YOURS TO KEEP
  18. This is wrong. There is the one you are talking about consisting of (in order left to right) Airbag Diactivation Light/Blanking Plate - Heated Rear Screen - Heated Front Screen - ESP Button/Blanking plate. / denotes an OR remark... The other unit consists of exatly the same + the edges have the Heated seat controlers.
  19. To know what i'm talking about, clicky on the linkie... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-04-Fo ... 0198840491 Do these exist? Would the MK1's fit in the same kinda way? Jamz pointed out and it is conformed by me that the MK2 has plastic trim along the edge where these struts would go.
  20. I know what you mean. Why are they there. I don't see a reason too it.
  21. Done a google. But i think if i am to do it, i must go for the MK1 and try and fit em. If not, MK1 owner will get a set for cheap.
  22. Found these in Europe. They are MK1 though they might fit. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Heckklappenlift-P ... dZViewItem
  23. There must be a european equivelant. I'm sure someone out there has already done this. What are they actually called. Is it air struts, air springs, gas struts, we have to accept that the americans have different names for things, but we also must get people attention with th correct terminology, if you know what i mean.
