I saw a tonic 3 door ST lookalike not long ago whislt driving through Hetton. I had a 3 door tonic focus and wanted to do the same, i actually bought an ST front bumper, but have since sold the car, and now have a spare front ST bumper. Still, i did like the look of that tonic ST though.

does anyone know how long a vehicle has to be out before haynes jump on the bandwagon and produce a manual for it? i mean its not like the mk2 is unpopular or anything, theres hundreds of them on the road, i find it odd that they haven't done an english one yet.

and wing mirrors :wink: gotta say it looks like some thing from that movie cars i can see a big gasping face :o :lol: the head lights and new upper grill look the muts but realy dont like that big chrome surround on the front bumper Just a guess but i reckon the higher spec models will get this chrome surround, maybe lower spec ones will be black as per the current focus.

thats a nice colour actually, a bit light for aquarius i think, but it ain't half bad, submit it off too ford see if they can sort it out lol. good effort though, i would pay for that colour. has anyone seen the new green focus's? can't say i would have one myself but they are new and will get used to them i suppose.

yeah thats the new mondeos front end is it not? i.e. the lights and grill. a good photoshop attempt though tbh. doesn't look all that bad but still prefer the way it is now

i thought that at first. there was some on ebay for 70 quid each but they were electric fold in mirrors with puddle lights n all which works out cheaper. there is a post about it.

yeah im with you dave on that. Hmmmmm i think my insurance would be through the roof as i'm only 22 if i bought an ST, i doubt making it look like one will go anywhere near that, however i don't think mine will go up as i'm with a german insurance company (i currently live in germany) and they base their premiums on the engine and power of a car as opposed to looks.

i think thats a bit harsh because to own an ST, its gonna cripple your insurance because of the 2.5 engine but everyone, including me wants to better what they have no matter how stupid it is. hence why i want to make my car look like an ST with a slight difference. thats because for me being a 22 yr old, the insurance is stupid. if it was that easy to own an ST don't you think we would have one? and i disagree it being a poor imitation of another car as the ST has a nice look to it, so i want mine to have a similiar look, but not performance wise, whats wrong with that?

i'm confused slightly when you say without indicators. does that mean they are the full shape wing mirrors or they have the hole for the indicators?

well i see a point from both ways however if they come primered now then i can spray them myself as me brother sprays cars and has the right kit so i'm alright when it comes to the painting side, it just makes life easier if the parts are ready to spray if you know what i mean. therefore it makes it cheaper. not that i'm a skin flint :lol: nah my better half thinks that the fact that i have a new car then why should i mess with it (she doesn't drive lol) so i can't go mad when it comes to money hence i watch ebay like a hawk for certain parts.

i'm not taking the michael here but can you buy chrome paint? or anything to make things have that chrome effect? may help look certain dull parts of the interior a little better i.e. the glove box handle for one or door handles etc? stupid question i know but surely it must be possible.

i reckon you could probably order a normal spoiler to come in primer then as well as the fog eye brows too if they are part of the standard line up. i could be wrong but may save hassle in all the sanding down and plastic priming what people do.

what interior mods have you done so far mikey?? i think i have seen your sunglasses holder mod and steering wheel mod but anything else yet?

lol you have done well though mate looking at your progress so far. do you have an LX badge on the back? otherwise its pretty much a zetec from the outside with a decent spoiler. am i right in saying that the focus's now come with colour coded spoilers and fog light eye lids? theres a silver one where i am but to look at the driver (a middle aged female - no offence by the way) you wouldn't think she was into the whole colour coding/modding phase. i could be completely wrong though, apologies if so.

yeah i bet it is worth it. i will have one and i will have the rest of the kit fitted soon. i am saving in secret lol, just have to drink less beer. i do want the eibachs as well to lower it as i have the sport and the wheels are only 16s and the body sits really high man, sometimes it looks like a monster truck when the boot is empty.

i know seen it tons of times, theres another 2 on there at the moment at 20 quid with 2 days left, i don't have 100 quid to spend on a spoiler according to my better half lol. i don't resent you for letting that spoiler go too early lol. Theres a orange ST bumper on there at £14.99 with only a short while left if anyone is interested.

i bought an ST bumper from ebay a few months ago for £40 delivered, but he said he was a breaker, but there has been an increase of bumpers, even the odd door or two, but nothing much more though. i'm on the prowl for an ST spoiler, was after mikeygs ms spoiler but he sold it before i had chance dammit lol. i put a post in the general section weeks ago with a website that you entered details of what parts you want from what car and they search all the main breakers in the country and then get back to you where there is one available. i can't remember the website though sorry.

i would love to have the seats. that would be my first ST interior upgrade but i believe the seats are pretty expensive.

i went to a dealer and the bloke said they were seperate fog lamps which cost 80 quid for the pair, however when i asked Tezza for a list of parts required to put on a ST bumper, he never mentioned the fog lamps. all bezels are different but im assuming the rear fog lights are the same. have a word with someone to confirm as i don't know who to believe but i suspect that you may need different front fog lamps, which is crap.
