must just be your cd mate when i make my mp3 disks the name of the album comes up when searching through the albums then the song name when going through the songs

i retro fitted the same one as you mate that sony unit is a quality quality just a pitty it doesnt have any pre outs for amps

i like the ms design and ford but not a fan of the checkerd effect but as said before its what you want and like mate :wink:

http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/ now produce new dial faces for all uk spec mk2 focus's whether petrol or diesel there are two different layouts of warning lamps you will need to check yours to see what set you need there are different face finnishes aluminium, white, black and varrious number colours to choose from bellow are the two different warning symbol layouts the white petrol ones are what ive ordered will take them a couple of weeks to do mine as they will be the first set of the lesser speced dash made so will confirm quality and finnish ect one they arrive but so far very ni

just out of interests sake whats in the installation kit ? im trying to keep all mods with fords own gear but opted for aftermarket on the parking sensors as thats a very expensive kit your a braver man than me drilling just short of an inch hole in your boot floor for that i take my hat off to you squire :lol:

infact it may even be bigger than that the gromet in the boot floor

you do know theres a large rubber gromet in the boot floor already dont you about :shock: 32 mm how much did the origional kit cost and how much was the instalation kit ?

stripped my dials down and removed the face, it has been scanned in and sent tonight so they will be in production very very soon :D there will be the higher spec with the warning symbols of a higher spec car in petrol and diesel and the lower spec with the lower spec warning symbols again in petrol or diesel

alright gang :lol: had a look at daves st dial change and was wondering are the needles removable not just the caps on the ends ?

did you do these your self ? how did you remove them ?

from memory i think they are 25 mm and aftermarket sensors are 23 mm but i could be wrong wait on a proper responce :wink:

take it very easy painting the sensors only do a very light coat :wink:

strip goes on first then sensors fit in to the strip

my 1.4 has a cam chain :shock: would have thought belt

gloss if you want matt then some wet n dry will get you that effect :wink:

they aint tight as ford ones are a one mm or two larger than aftermarket ones nothing some sillicone in the hole thn put the sensor in wont fix :wink:
