It could be due to an external source, only a thouhgt but I was working at a company recently when I realised the remote for my ford connect van wouldnt work, got talking to a guy who worked their and he told me no remotes work in their car park it had been like that for a few months and they didnt know what the cause was. Sure enough as soon as I was off the premises it worked, next day back in the carpark wouldnt work. Not saying it is that but worth noting.

I agree with what you say, but come on its not that hard to change a bulb! I feel very small jobs like that should be thrown in as part of the service as long as there arnt to many of them. I think its called customer service?

I had a rattle from front near side, turned out to be wiring loom loose under the mud guard in the nearside wheel arch, only rattled over 40mph. Must say though sorted very promptly by the local dealer under warranty. :D -
Just had 1st Service on my Focus and had a call to tell me the bulb was out on my high visibility brake light, did I want them to change the bulb for me? Cost £19 I politely said no it was ok leave it. When I got it home I whipped off the Light and found inside 5 bulbs 1 of which had blown so not too urgent, replaced bulb at a cost of £1 time taken 5mins. So by my calculation that is about £90 an hour for labour not bad!

I have a diesel van and after the fuel light comes on I play a game of how long before I run out. Never run out yet but have managed to get 56L in the tank and its only supposed to hold 55 so I feel Ford air on the side of caution so you never run out.

Just wondered how many people have gone for the option of the Electric Sun Roof. I have on mine and I love it :D
-
I have the 1.6TiVct ang have been getting 32mpg per tank only on the third tank full now, but I hope it improves as the engine loosens up. I was getting 32mpg out of my old focus and was looking forward to a bit of an improvement on the new one. The computer seems fairly accurate. If ithe mpg doesn't improve im going to wish Id got a diesel :!:

Have now got the bars for a roof rack and when looking at the fittings there is a bolt that needs to be bolted into the trough on top of the roof under the little plastic cover, but there is no hole visible, it looks as if maybe on manufacture they spray over it any one know before I go digging about looking for it?
-
Yes it is.
-
Yep that works :)
-
Tezza you could you tell me the code for the Roof Rack and the price its for the 5 door. Cheers.
-
Can anyone tell me is the fittings for roof bars on the new focus are exactly the same as the c max?

They obviously couldn't be bothered to move it for the Right Hand Drive car :? Is it in the same place on the Left Hand Drive car? ie on the left of the centre consol. -
