It sounds realistic - ford parts arent particularily cheap - but im useless at painting things i always mess it up so im lazy and get what i can done by someone else

I didnt read it i only looked at the picture - the nasty bright red font and capitals gave me a headache just looking at it let alone reading it

You can buy the parts ready primed from Ford mate - not sure why your body shop told you it would flake off though? unless they meant if you just did a straight spray of whats on the car now

We are "special" lol - i have to say though i got comments from the OHs sister of why did it want a "big" car etc - to me driving it feels no different to my hatch but obviously is more practical

If you think ford are bad you should see Peugeot - they charge £30 per wheel TRIM on the new 207, thats £120 just for plastic hub caps!

Abruzzi since you dont even own a MK2 i fail 2 see the point of the post? - our prices are ford retail prices being a ford main dealer - sorry not trying to be stroppy but at the end of the day we are a main ford dealer selling online to customers who cannot get to a dealer during opening hours / because they dont want to leave the house etc we are not a cheap ford parts outlet - All of our parts are 100% genuine ford, with genuine ford warranty etc

Will believe it when i see it every pic ive seen so far has been a mondeo not a facelifted focus at all - and i find it hard 2 believe such a change would be a facelift and not a new MK

pretty sure theres no requirement for them to give you a courtesy car i dont think the one i kind of work at even could for that long because they are only a small dealership so dont have many courtesy cars

The only problem with that is - As far as i can see on ecat the lower part of the fogs do not come primed - the reason you can buy the top strip primed is because the new titaniums and maybe ghias have that bit painted from the factory .... i might be missing something tho i am knackered and my brain isnt working properly

the fog surrounds just unclip - havent tried the boot bit yet - the fog surrounds are in 2 parts, the top bit comes off first

when i messed about with the tops of the fog surrounds i bought new ones but this time since im letting a body shop do it i will give them the actual bits off the car

i tried the top bits and messed it up but OH is getting a body kit for his old mondeo which needs painting so going 2 take my bits in at the same time

Nope doesnt have one as standard

Sending some bits to the body shop to get colour coded - fog surrounds and the boot strip - am i missing anything, its a titanium so handles / door mouldings etc are already done

Not had the problem - But if its something to do with the washer jets wasnt there a problem with the seals around them leaking and letting water in or was that my imagination?
