  1. yeah its minimal amounts of difference. Cheers, I will go for it (well next month, get the best out of my rubber for now)
  2. no no im changing all my tyres, but my old focus had 215 goodyear eagle F1 and i found them amazing, but they are not available on the 205 size, so been looking at other good tyres (pirreli p zero) and they are about £520 all fillted, but the good years on the 215 size are £360 all fitted, so quite a difference and im wanting eagle F1's anyway. So if i was to change them all would it really make a difference? Cheers
  3. Yeah, i thought that to start with but after looking on the net i found a lot of people have done this, so just wondering if any1 has done it on here. cheers
  4. Hi guys, Getting new tyres for my car and ive got 205 x 50 x 17. And im wanting to get 215 x 45 x 17. Would the 10mm wider tyre make a difference? and the 5mm profile shouldnt make a difference i would hope? Cheers!
  5. i think that worked on the older focus like the mk1 &mk1.5 but nothing newer ones like the mk 2 & mk2.5
  6. yeah ive been trying to get this and aint managed! good luck
  7. Yeah, cheers oobster! Did u just get the one u already have on the car painted? The one i have has a few very slight marks on it, as if some1 has touched it when reversing probably into a wall, as there is a few chips but nothing too much, so u recon i could just use that one since they will prob have to rub it down anyway? Also, is the bumper strip now a smooth finish? Cheers.
  8. Hi guys, Just wondering if any1 can point me in the right direction to finiding a rear bumper strip new and primed with the reversing sensor holes in it. Im wanting to get an ST spoiler and coloured and also get the bumper strip coloured and the reverse sensors. Thanks!
  9. Nasty, yeah when i crashed my old car my aircon was hanging off and there was some green fluid around it, so i would say its that too. Looks like someone got some air!!
  10. oobster - nice one, i was thinking about getting a body shop to do it, but wasnt too sure if they would be up4 it! Will have to get a price from one or 2 around here!! going to get my spolier coloured too i think! as thats the only 2 black parts on the car, would look better red! yeah pics would be ace, cheers m8!! what like is the price? is it propper prices or is it a 'friendly' price. Thanks again
  11. OOBSTER - If he does get back to you please can you forward this on to me, as i would be interested in doing this too. Cheers
  12. yeah, seems like the ford auto wipers aint quite up to scratch, when i drove my dads R32 as soon as u put ur foot down and the rain got worse the wipers adjusted instantly...sadly i have never noticed this in my car...its always a minute behind. Auto wipers aint good in the winter anyway as u get all the sh*t off the road onto ur screen and it wipes and smudges it all over...great!
  13. I know its Diesel and that but my car does 38-52 mpg...depending on how i feel like driving, mostly town and a bit of country. 2006 2L
  14. Yeah same as above my 56 titanium has the foam on the cap and i go through a heap!!!....and dont have the light jets.
  15. wasnt sure if it would make much difference, just thought i would mension it. good point though YorkshirePudding
  16. when i have my ipod in through the aux i have it at 6-12 vol usually, and thats pretty loud...anything above 15 is rattling the doors off...and the same vol for my CD's. I got the Titanium sony CD 2006. (i got gold plated connections on the jack) if that makes any difference.
  17. dont let it get empty, as if you got any dirt in it, then it all blocks up the pump....as i found out and its a pain to take out and clean!
  18. Maybe if you were to reset the average speed while your doing 45mph....then when it has reset, i would think it would be accurate, but then after a minute or 2 it would be back to average...so wouldnt be very accurate!.....i think
  19. Right! well i was getting annoyed with it, so last night decided to take everything appart to get in about the bottle, then took the pump off and no water was coming out of the full bottle, then when i took the filter out i was swimming!!! so my car is only 2 years old and it has so so so much sh*t in the bottle it was clogged up! so cleaned it out, and all working now! if anyone is planning on doing it...you need to have a bit of patience, so much parts to take off and play about with just to get a little filter cleaned. cheerz for your help guys
  20. Russ77 : Well i thought that, but i topped it up the day before, so its still full so i can see its not frozen. Also i have tried pouring hot water onto/into the nozzels to heat them up, it was about 3 (deg) when i was trying to get them to work, so not too cold. menzies26: I never thought of that...would my water still come out somewhere if the pipe had came off, as my water 'bottle' is still full to the brim just about, as the amount that comes out when i try is either nothing or just tiny amounts. My car is only 2 years old...would it be worth taking it to a ford garage and getting
  21. My washer jets are not working! My rear doesnt work at all, and my front one works a tiny bit at times, the drivers side more than the other side. Its as if there is not enough pressure coming from the pump, as more comes out of the side closest to the pump. anyone had this problem?? maybe point me in the right direction. cheerz.
  22. i think there could be some sort of sensor, as with my 2003 focus mp3 when i crashed my m8 still managed to open my door when i had them auto locked....but suppose there would be some cases where they stayed locked.
  23. Oh well....was worth a try! will have to just keep pushing the lock on the door! Im sure i read somewhere that Ford never put it on because of Legal issues or something like that.....maybe it's true
  24. Is there a way to activate "Autolock" on Focus, ive got a 2006 model. I use to have a 2003 model and found an auto lock procedure on here, but cant seem to find one for the new focus. Cheerz.
