My advice would be to try and get a test drive of a Titanium. Kevin's post is very good but would add: 12. Partial leather seats standard on the Titanium optional on the Zetec. IMO partial leather seats add no comfort value because the facings are cloth and therefore no different from ordinary seats other than looks. True leather seats come from the Leather Styling Pack @ £1600 for Zetec or £1000 for Titanium. Which ever model you choose the one MUST have option I would go for is ESP :)

Which shade of silver is it :?: Although I'm not a great lover of silver cars yours looks good...must be the wheels that add appeal 8)

Sorry to disagree but according to specification sheet for the Studio it comes with Stereo Radio Cassette - Model 5000C, RDS, EON,PTY, "Keycode" anti theft and 2 FRONT SPEAKERS :( -
You never know James may even offer you a mates rate deal on the car...nudge nudge   so no more.

Yes Fronts only and of the basic type....not the luxury velour ones :( I suppose the matching rears are available @ extra cost unless you can blag some from the dealer  -
My current 2.0L Focus Ghia has leather and Cruise Control so naturally I wanted both on my new car. When I was at the pre-order stage I thought about the Titanium with at the time the £200 option of Cruise Control, plus full leather. The sums were more or less the same, but what dicided it for me was how narrow the new sports seats are :(
-
How about this... a Ghia with MP3 stereo and different wheels could work out cheaper than a Titanium with the added advantage of having Cruise Control :)

Has anyone asked any questions on the new Ford website feature: http://www.ford.co.uk/ie/foc_c307/-/-# Some of the answers have got to be summed up as..."nice try but no cigar"

I'm looking forward to my Ghia "flick key" coming early May with any luck 8)

Welshade Is that the key that came with the car, looks like a "penknife" 8) 8) 8)

Thanks James I also wondered how it all worked. Do you find customers are more interested all the "toys" a car has or are wanting something basic and reliable to get from A to B :?:

Does anyone remember the hideous two-tone Austin Montegos... now that was a clever way of hiding the fact that colour coded bumpers did not match the body
-
UK buyers are going to take a lot of convincing to buy this, especially when its more expensive than the hatchback and not as practical. I had a Sierra Sapphire a few years back - then I switched to a Focus hatchback and am unlikely to go back to a saloon :)

Any magnum grey new focus owners??
focusghia44 replied to ash/'s topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
I know colour choice is personal and emotive but to me Magnum Grey looks Panther Black in need of a wash...no offence intended to anyone  -
On the original Price List 15thDec to 15Jan the only model to be offered Cruise Control on the options list was the Titanium. This has now been dropped probably because it was felt that the 3 spoke steering wheel had a more "sporty" image and suited the Zetec/Titanium better. I agree showing the Sport model with a 4 spoke steering wheel and Cruise Control is confusing but maybe there was limited choice of cars when the photography was done...I don't know :? The Sport model is i bit of an oddbod to start off with offering only a different steering wheel, fog lights and sport (steel) wheel

I don't have any connections with the Motor Trade but 3 reasons spring to mind about the colour difference. Firstly component parts are sprayed separately and then all brought together for assembly. Secondly paint to cover plastic eg bumpers has to be flexible and therefore it has a different composition. Thirdly plastic and steel reflect light differently thereby showing a differnt tone of the same colour.

Would a Titanium owner be so kind as to measure the internal dimension of the facia-top stowage box. I'm planning what to do with the space so when my ghia finally arrives it will be straight forward swop over of all the bits and pieces one accumulates. TIA

Just remembered "Magic Tree" ... new car fragrance :)

Ghia owners don't get a choice of the number of doors :(
