Chris Like you I enjoy that new car "smell". I have a feeling someone produced an air freshener called "New Car" or something similar but I can't remember who made it :!: Perhaps someone else knows of it... I don't think I'm going :x just yet :wink:

James Further to my post earlier AFAIK the 1.4 and 1.6 Duratec engines including 1.6TI-VCT do not have the programable EHPAS (Electric Hydraulic Power-Assisted Steering) but has standard mechanical PAS :cry:

The dealer fit Eibach kit is it just to lower the car ie shorter springs or something more radical... includes different dampers/antiroll bar etc :?:

According to catalogue EHPAS...Electric Hydraulic Power Assisted Stetting is not available on 1.4 and 1.6 Duratec engines...Shame :(

How about a test drive of the 1.6TI-VCT... similar perfomance to your 1.8 and the most economical in the petrol range 8)

Drivethedeal.com are quoting for the new saloon... petrol or diesel, but only in Ghia and Titanium trims. 8)

If the Zetec saloon follows the same series format as the hatchback then the "Sports Suspension" option will not be offered because it already has it.

Hi ChrisAC I don't know if this will be of interest but www.motorpoint.co.uk are advertising 30x "New Model" Focus Ghia 1.6TDCIs in stock...colour choice Black, Moondust and Tonic :D

My guess is it's the Solar Reflect w/s and or ESP... but I'm sure the Trade guys will reply with a more accurate synario :)

Have you ordered it with ESP/Adaptive Headlights or both :?: That's what has delayed mine, and I ordered it a week after you :!: My build date is 15th April... so fingers crossed you don't have too long await.

IMHO get the best online price for the model required and sell yours privately. Before the "6 month old" new models come on the market and depress the trade-in values even more :wink:

I used the "New Focus" car configurator and the Titanium wagon is not listed. Another case of Ford not getting their act together :?

At the time they didn't appear to know much about the offer and no swipe machine but took my details and photocopied card so here's hoping :)

I had my test drive on the 5th February and still no points. I was passing this afternoon so called in at the dealers (Holiways - Durham) and yes they remembered my test drive. Until recently it was a Jennings dealership and not to worry administration changeovers take time :)

When I was given my build date 15th April my dealer also said two weeks for delivery so maybe the situation is improving :)
